PPC and facebook can be a little expensive but is targeted traffic if you do your research and start the right campaign you don't need much traffic to see conversions

Just be very weary of cheap traffic. Years ago when I first started I bought 10,000 hits for $9. Needless to say I didn't get one single sale. Why? Most likely because either this was done by robots, or it wasn't targeted traffic. If you really want to pay for traffic I would recommend Adwords although they can be a difficult beast to please at times.
For me without a doubt the best investment in traffic is using a good keyword tool to perform keyword research and then reverse engineer websites to build quality back links to your site. If you do this well enough you will have endless traffic from Google searches.

thanks for you r reply .The problem is i have very no skills when it comes to SEO. As I am A ebay marketer i don't know much about getting traffic because all the traffic are targeted. i also didn't mean cheap as 10 bucks for 10k traffic. what i meant was i checked on facebook and cheapest click bid was £0.69 to £0.89 which is fairly expensive if i am just going to test few campaign. i hope you understand what you meant. thanks

  For cheap and effective traffic I recommend Forum Posting and Blog commenting.
  
  Make sure you add quality content. It is free and highly targeted. Spend a hour a day and you will get some great traffic.
  
  A great place is Big-Boards.com to find forums in your niche.

  hey guys, thank you very much for the help so far. i can understand now "no point of buying cheap traffic, i will try to save up bit more money and use adwords or facebook ads. it will bring me better result and good conversion.

I found addwords to be very expensisve.The more popular the keyword or niche the higher the pay per click

if you understand the source of the traffic you are buying whether cheap or expensive, you cab always find an offer that fits the kind of traffic you are buying. What is important is for you to know where the trafic is coming from, i mean how it is generated. for example it is known that Trafficvance traffic comes from gamevance.

You can also use cheap traffic sites to test offers expecially if the offer will appeal to a wide range of demographics. Afterall it is cheap, why not use them to test offers or at least build a genarl niche list.
