I have a weight loss site that is 6 months old. Some of the pages were ranking on Page 1 and Page 2 of google. I applied for adsense and was rejected in December. about 10 days after the receiving the rejection email my site was nowhere in sight in google for the pages it was ranking before. Is my site sandboxed? and is it due the to adsense rejection? I dont use any automated link building or black hat. Any thoughts?

I don't think it is sandboxed, I certainly don't think the rejection would have any effect of your rankings. It is likely just dancing around, although it is 6 months old, if it doesn't have many backlinks it would typically dance around for a little longer while it finds it's place in the SERPs.

Build some quality links to it and it should come back shortly.

    Cheers,
    Dave

Surely you jest. One would die of exhaustion.
If you can't slow down on link building, then get better links, better content, link bait, etc.

Weight loss is a highly competitive niche with a lot of sites that are dishonest in one way or another. Some do a lot of tricky linking schemes, others report competitors while others engage in other tactics that might affect their ranking or their competition's. It's also easier to damage your own ranking in this niche. On top of that, many of the offers being pushed on these sites violate US laws or have other legal problems.

Due to this, weight loss is one of the niches that Google tends to score a little more strictly for ranking, acceptance to Adsense and acceptance of Adwords ads.

Oh, and on top of that, if you're talking about your healthnfitnesspro.com site, it looks like a typical MFA template site and that's probably the reason it was rejected by Adsense. Also, your links appear to be from just a few sources, which can also cause ranking instability in any niche.
