Is There A Way To SEO An Embedded YouTube Video?

I am wondering if there is a way to SEO an embedded Youtube video.

For instance, when you add alt text to a picture file, it gives you a little more juice.

Is there something I can do to embedded videos that will give the page a little more juice?

There may be your answer. Seems 'title' is the only SEO attribute you can give video.

Below is an excerpt from WebProNews regarding potential changes to SEO for Google in 2009.

Of course, this is one person's opinion so choose your data wisely...

Google looks at soundtracks and convert them to text. They can jump into the middle of videos, scan sites to determine if you have video/images or not. There are a lot of variables in universal search, and some of these variables tell how engaging your site is.

The article Kunle pointed out is great for SEOing your video on YouTube. As for getting a little more SEO juice from embedded videos on your site, I'm not sure there is much you can do. If you are embedding your own video, then make sure you name your video file with the keywords you want prior to uploading to YouTube. Also, keyword name all of your internal music files and image files prior to "rendering" the video as Google can read the code of the video and these keywords get carried over.
