I have heard people talk about using a Meta Indexer to get site indexed faster. What exactly is a meta indexer, how does it work and what if any are the risks?

Meta Indexers are typically stats sites like those for website/domain valuation and checking traffic stats.

They create pages for every checked URL, thus Google Bots visit them every few seconds. This leads to rapid indexing of your site because there is a link to your site from that page.

The pages may expire/get deleted or lose all incoming links and thus the value of the link to your site will also go down to zero.

There are really no risks, unless your links go from 0 to 1000 in a day, in which case Google may sandbox it.
