How it is like when traffic come from Search Engines?

Do you see traffic come massively all a sudden or you see them coming gradually after a month or two of work building quality backlinks? Here pleaseshare your experience how it is really like hitting #1 spot at Google or other search engines.

If possible please tell your story, about the process exactly what you did andhow long it took you to see real traffic.

For certain, with some experience, anyone can get a site indexed with Googlewith less than 48 hours consistently. It id not submit wait for months.

Please also address what is called submit to Google local and how. How long for Google counts backlinks?

    rarely "all of a sudden".

    There are so many factors involved:

    1) having a quality site with good content and an intelligent structure
    2) good ON-SITE Seo on the site

    Keyword and niche/market research to get an idea about competition, search volume and theoretical rankings.

    THEN (for my sites!) it is a process of MONTHS which means updating/adding content. Link building. Getting high PR backlinks, article writing and submission.

    In SEO and when it comes to Google rankings hardly anything happens over-night...and if you want something permanent, quality then be prepared then simply focus on something else why your other projects are "aging" slowly.

    Also..dont focus on this too much..just keep going, rather look at your site/content/quality and dont stop building links and submitting articles.

    you start getting looks once you get to page one. The party begins when you get to number 3. Number 1 is cruise control. Depends on your keywords of course.

      We do nothing but blogging, and it is so predictable it's stupid.

      After about 2 weeks of posting 2 time a week, you see 1 or 2 hits coming in on Statcounter.

      Then two weeks later again you see little bumps up to maybe 8 hits (uniques) in one day. Then up and down for a month again.

      On the third month maybe 20 - 30 a day, and six months you are starting to make some money.

      It's all gravy from there on up. At 18 months there is a big jump usually and in three years it gets really exciting.

      Autoblogs are about the same depending on the niche.

      This is basically what I experienced as well.

      I don't have a number 1 spot for any buyer keywords just yet, but I lucked out and got a #3 result for a popular and obscure product with my blog, and I was wondering why I was selling like 8 of these things per month all of a sudden. . I did a search for the term and found myself in the #3 spot, and I've been getting several sales of that product each month ever since.

      I am now going to pump up that page a bit with some intentional SEO work and try to take the #1 spot, and see what happens then!

      I'll report back what happens at that time!
