    You can really learn yourself by reading the basic books then moving onto the more advanced

    the problem with going on a course which is around £1000, is that you are relying on the information that particular company is teaching you, and with Seo being so controversial who says they are right.

    Start with Google Help and work on from there, seo is not rocket science if followed correctly, steer clear of Black hat Seo it may work short term but will catch you up eventually.

    Pretty much everything in SEO you can do yourself. The largest cost will be in the form of time...which is the very reason many end up paying for it. It is a lot of work.

    You don't need to go to an institute just to learn SEO. Just search SEO tutorial in Google. If you learn SEO it will be easier for you to increase you web traffic.

    For me it was the $97 I spent on my keyword tool, and then just my time. It's actually not really too hard if you do the basics right. The most important thing is to spend most of your time generating traffic.

    Hey, yes SEO can be learned in some kind of course. However it´s tough to estimate because it depends on how "deep" and "in-depth" you want to develop.

    Getting some kind of decent education takes at least a few weeks till months on average, depending on how many hours you invest on a weekly basis.

    I´m doing SEO and Article Marketing full time right now. Here you can get some good and free tips to get started: SEO Book.com ~ SEO Training Made Easy

    That´s a great site, offering tons of value. Besides you can download some tools for firefox for free. Watch the training videos and opt in to the free (I guess it´s a 9 day course). You´ll get e-mails send after that.
