How do you evaluate your Adsense earnings? The Ads which have high CTR or which have high CPC. Thanks.

I evaluate it in terms of CPI or Cost per impression (call it CPM if you wish ).

Thanks. You would think the Ad units with high CPM are better. I have been evaluating based on high CTR.

It's irrelevant. The bottom line is your bottom line.

Google could care less about either. What google cares about is
performance of the ads on your site. They like action. If the ads
on your site are getting boatloads of casual clicks, your bottom
      line will suffer.

You should be more worried about target traffic to your site.

One high priced click, or low price click, can throw your eCPM off in
a second. It's quite a useless stat, unless you just a stat fan.

Go to your monthly stats. Much better long-term read.

If you were disappointed in your results today, lower your standards tomorrow.

I think both factors are important for consideration. CTR is shows visitor's behavior and your method of placing ads. Its more or less in your own control but you have no control over CPC. Once you selected one keyword its CPC will not move up or down but CTR is only specific to your site and it will vary with your actions on site.
