Not Sure where to go from here. Got website set up

I used to make money from hubpages and do reviews. But I want to move away from that, so I got a couple of domains that I am interested with. I have had one for about a week and another for about 2 months. BUT they are both nowhere, not in top 20 pages for not very competitive search terms.

In terms of SEO I have done some basic on page SEO and some good offpage SEO, including using some software. I know they are indexed and I know they are not sandboxed. I am going to use some more software soon (senuke + scrapebox) On these sites, just wondering how long will it take for these sites to be within first few pages on google? I am only asking this question because my hubpages got onto page one within a few days but my sites are no where?

Thanks.

P.S. Domain name is keyword.

It all depends on what keyword you are trying to get listed for? How competitive it is? What other sites are already ranked? How good your SEO really is?

There are a lot of factors that matter and you cannot just expect to get listed. For all we know you are targeting a keyword that has 10 authority sites on the front page and you will probably never end up there. This would not be smart, but my point is there are a lot of factors that go into getting ranked and there is simply not enough information here to allow any of us to give you real advice.

Getting ranked on the first page of Google isn't that difficult as long as you do your homework. Make sure to see what type of competition you are going up against, because like Benjamin said, if 10 authority sites are already on the front page, you have little to no chance because they have a bigger advertising/seo budget then you do.

Search for low competition keywords to target, SENuke and scrapebox are good software, however keyword research is just as important. I personally use MS.

With all due respect, advertising and budget has nothing to do with it. If you have the knowledge and time, you can compete with most companies. Little old me continue's to beat out banks and insurance companies with one of my sites. They have more money than I ever will. And I never outsourced a thing.

Don't use scrapebox or senuke on new sites if you're looking to get results. If you blast a page that has 0 links and is less than 6 months old it will be knocked down and won't rank for a good while. Hubpages ranked because that domain has a lot of authority. Using Yahoo! SiteExplorer you can see over 2 million links to the entire site and more than 11 million pages. Your site has no history of being helpful yet so blasting it with software wont help. Let it sit for a while and rank without any links, then build article links to it using ezinearticles.com and other article directories. They'll all rank that way and when they hit the first page they'll stay there.

I don't know where you got this information from clickbumped... I've been using Scrapebox to blast Anchor Text Named Comments to a couple THOUSAND AutoApproved blogs for two 3-month old sites of mine and they rank just fine...

But you should diversify your backlinks from different streams besides JUST blog comments.

Scrapebox can be a dangerous tool to a novice... Don't just start blasting out crap hoping it sticks. Utilize the add-ons you can download for Scrapebox. Test the waters with a crap domain first... And if you're playing with thousands of URLs, do the Malware scan on them first.

      CHEERS!

Start a social media campaign a long with your link building efforts, this way you can build your reputation and people will link to your site off their own backs, giving you more authority in the search engines eyes.
