Getting A Squeeze Page To Rank High

Hi Warriors

I have a squeeze page in the weight loss niche that used to rank really well in 2007/8 for competitive keywords. It was just a straight up squeeze page with no other links other than an opt-in form.

Then all of a sudden one day my site was getting zero traffic from the SE's.

I hear that they are dropping squeeze pages from rankings? I guess that's what happened.

But now I want to recover my ranking. But how do I go about that?

Will adding links to other content on my site at the bottom of my squeeze page help to boost my rankings? If I add one new link to a new article per week will that help?

Has my site been sandboxed? I don't quite understand what that is but my rankings are very, very low. For example I posted a new unique article to my site about six months ago. Today I go to Google and paste the entire first paragraph, yet my article doesn't come up in the top 10 results. In fact it doesn't come up in the top 70-80 that I can tell. The page has been indexed because if you do a search with "" then it comes up.

If my site has been sandboxed - how do I get it "un-sandoxed"? How long will it take? Is it worthwhile?

Here's my squeeze page so you can offer some advice.

Oh - and how come Tellman Knudson is able to rank #1 in Google for "list building" if all he has is a straight squeeze page with zero content?

    Actually, what keywords you want to taget for that squeeze page? From Fat Abs to Flat Abs? if so, it rank number 3 in google. if "how to get flat abs" you will need to build anchor text links to it. you have around 800 backlinks with YH explorer which is good butyou will need to build more as you have lots of more competition on that keyword. Your site does not DeIndex just you dont build link to promote it and in turn, your competitors take hot spot and kick you off cuz you are so lazy :p just kidding!!!!

      And no, I'm not trying to target "From Fat Abs To Flat Abs" and have amended my title tag to help increase rankings.

      Backlinks I will continue to build - I'm just a bit miffed that I was ranking so well and then one day suddenly dropped to nowhere.
