Hi

Has anyone used any of the Fiverr services to sub out SEO activity?

Have you had any luck with it? I've just ordered this;

"I will create 12 backlinks authority website PR10, PR7, P6 and PR5 Backlinks to your website with comlete proof and delivery within 24 hours. for $5"

Be interesting to see how it goes.

I'll report back and let you know when they get indexed and what the actual PR is - if its a PR10 site and a PR0/na link then the growling will happen

Don't bother. Every linking scheme on Fiverr is useless profile backlinks on crap sites. I tried 10 or so of them and gave up on that.

I have had great luck with fiverr for getting info on places to post blog comments, get facebook likes, and twitter links. The article writing is pretty decent too. Get a $5 article and blast it out with AMR.

Yeah - I suspect that you may have a point...

Been suffering some buyers remorse so had a look via Mkt samurai to see how many backlinks had stuck for one of the 10,000 links type offers.

      net results - max 15 PR0's

I have used a press release submission service, and after about 9 months over half the links are still live (over 20 links still live), which isn't bad for $5

I can't agree with you on that. What have you expected, that your site will instantly get 200 high quality edu or gov backlinks? Well, sometimes you need to put some efforts in order to get those links indexed, for example. What matters is whether people on Fiverr deliver what they promise, or not. If you got what you've ordered, then you can't claim Fiverr services bogus.

      Really?

I looked on there for 5 minutes and found someone that will spin my article, add in my links and submit it to 19 web 2.0 sites for $5. That's a pretty decent deal if you ask me.

I also found someone who'll submit my articles to 15-20 directories (ArticlesBase, etc) for $5. Also a very good deal.

I'm actually going to keep looking there because it's a great place for those small jobs that I can't be bothered doing myself.

This seems like a decent service- I think it is just a matter of weeding out the fluff and finding the right person for each job.

Honestly, i had two bad experiences in Fiverr. I know not all members are crap, but with $ 5 it's all good to be true.

If you can use them, we must consider, how they did it, can be Black.ha.t (looks like this word is censored LOL!), and danger our sites.

True, there might be too much crap on Fiverr as well. So the most important thing is to be aware what exactly do you need, and what precisely do you expect from that particular service. Simply ask questions, you can't be ordering something just because it "sounds good".

You need to choose carefully WHAT you choose and to WHO you buy. And yes, you'll need to buy from a couple of them until you get the good ones.

I have at least 3 gigs in my weekly payroll, all of them SEO services - good services.

Don't bother to ask their ID

    Hey ed,

I tried fiver for several months ago but it´s rather
a kindergarten from what I´ve seen so far.

Good services are more expensive BUT more effective.

You won´t get something great for this price mark, besides

I tried this fiverr for some services like bookmarkings and article submissions and they were all good as I've seen results in serp.. I also tried video submission and I'm truly satisfied, really worth it. The name of that guy providing good services is fvchamp. Check him out.

    So,

about the pagerank - I got some work done on fiverr - and checked the links, which was all pagerank 5- 7...Or at least that is what I think.

How do I check that it is really the pagerank it says?? I use seoquake and it comes up with the pagerank the seller said.. But would that still be possible to be somehow fake?

Don't buy a service that appears to over deliver in my opinion. I got a 30 link service from a guy for one of my test sites. One of the terms was ranking #92. He did his thing in the time promised, and within a week or 2, the site ranked #45 for that term, with NO OTHER SEO work or new content added, zip zilch nada. So to me, my time saved, was worth $5 for that experiment.

LOL! You are NOT going to get any PR10 backlinks for $5, and that leads me to believe the other PR claims are false too.

Did you know that there are currently only about 17 PR10 pages on the whole internet.

List list goes something like this:

    Google.com
    Facebook.com
    Macromedia.com
    NASA.org
    Apple.com
    ...

Getting a PR10 backlink means your link has to appear on the home page of one of these sites.

Unless the Fiverr gig is a $1million gig, I somehow doubt the integrity of it.

Just don't buy gigs where they are trying to do a whole bunch of spammy profile backlinks. Those DO NOTHING.

Yeah buying those spammy profile backlinks is quite pointless. But even more pointless is buying those Twitter tweets. Most sellers just have the twitter account full of bots and stuff and then they sell tweets. Truly pointless! I can't even understand why does people buy them?

I'll be honest - you'll probably go through a lot of crappy gigs before you uncover some gems. I have a few providers I use for a variety of things all of the time.

You also have to have some realistic expectations, too. Don't fall for the b/s when you see it. In other words - KNOW what you're purchasing before you purchase it. Also, take the time to go through the ratings. For an SEO service, if you see people making comments that their site had some movement (and you see these more than once), consider giving that gig a shot.

Also, just because it's on Fiverr doesn't always necessarily mean it's junk. Do you realize how many people in the "Warriors for Hire" section offer similar services for a MUCH higher price tag? If you ask me, throwing $5 around here and there to test the waters and find a good, solid service is better than spending $17, $27 or more on a similar service elsewhere.

There was a popular post started back
      in February touting impressive results
      using Fiverr services.

I decided to test, using the specific
      resources recommended.

      And I wasn't starting at scratch -

      1. My site is 7 years old.
      2. It was ranked #59 in Google for
      primary keyword when I began
      3. It's basically a junk content site

I purchased just two gigs on Fiverr
which were both delivered within a
day or so of placing the order, following
the advice of the post regarding timing.

One week after first gig . . . site dropped
to #67. Hmm. Maybe we need to pay
for the next gig to get things to pop.

      My site now?

It's gone! It no longer appears in the
first 15 pages (that's when I quit looking)

So much for cheap ass traffic manipulation.

All that aside, think about this -

Isn't it time to stop publishing **** and
attempting to manipulate it by paying
someone $5 for links from who-knows-where?

This is your contribution to humanity?

      No wonder Google hates us.

"I publish **** and pay people willing to work
for nothing to make it look better than it is
through the obvious and transparent attempt
to manipulate the Google search algorithm!

I tell you these guys on the forum, they are
smarter than all those PhDs Google overpays.

      He, he, he. Hah!

I say "Who needs a college education when
you can spend your beer money at Fiverr!"

Quality attracts on its own. Sure, it needs
a little push to get going . . . but.

People are still trying to publish garbage, and
get away with it. It's not 2005 any more -
      those days are gone.

Unless you have something *remark*able to
publish do something else. What a waste of
      time and effort this is.

      Really. Think about it.

      X

I've tried it three times and it was crap each time.

#1) Ordered some .EDU links, thought that's a good deal although I probably have most maybe I'll find a few new ones. Not a single was a US .EDU (for those of you in the know think the .edu.xx that ANYONE can register) and they were just spam link directories. Waste of $5.
#2) Ordered Xrumer blast and was to have each profile linked to with a SB blast. This is nice because for $5 it saves me a few minutes from running these tools myself while I run other campaigns. The Xrumer blast report came in, many of the links didn't exist (old list most likely) and then he says "I cannot give you the SB report because I need to keep my list private but be assured I have done it". Some more BS and a wasted $5.
#3) Purchased another set of .EDU links - delivery time stated 3 days. After 10 days of no response I canceled the order. Waste of my time.

Actually edu.xx is domains of educational institutions all over the world. For example edu.ph is edu domain from philipines.

So anyone who own school or college can register an edu.xx domain. Anyone from USA who owns school can register .edu domain.

So from that point of view even USA edu would be worthless

Tried many SEO gigs so far. There are some crappy services, but some are really awesome (worth more than $5 for sure).

Some useful gigs (I think they deserve my advertising :-) ):
Portron - This seller have almost 9000 positive reviews! Buying Xrumer services.

summerlove - Have only ~100 positive reviews, but he deliver gigs in few minutes and have pretty cool landing page! Buying one way permanent links here.

Elitewebtraffic - I bought 10000 visitors to my clickbank landing page. 3 of 10000 visitors bought a products. Pretty nice I think. Maybe just a luck

tuneman - Not SEO service, but I really, really like this guy. Used his services few times, he is pro.

Okay, I'm def. not a Fiverr fan. I think people who use Fiverr want $500 worth of work for $5 and that's ridiculous. Anyways, with that said, check the work the person does for you. If you don't like their work, you don't have to accept it. Instead of letting the job auto-complete in 3 days or whatever, there is a link next to the feedback button that allows for more options. You can reject the work the person sent to you. If the provider doesn't want to make things right, mutually cancel the order.

In my book any link from PR10 or even PR5 is quite good if the links are inside text or at least nearby. Forum links may be bad - especially from spammed xrumer-ed sites. But web 2.0 and authority forums with no spam are good.

For me, the best Fiverr gigs have been manual social bookmarks. I use this with every long-tail targeting post I make and, although the competition is low for these terms, a nice 20 SB gig will usually be enough to rank the post over any competitors. I say usually, but the recent Panda update has completely screwed that tactic for many keywords.

I think SEO is regular job, you can do by your self. Don't spend money for bad backlinks like they are offered. I do all my clients SEO manually, and they are on page first now, even some of them get the first rank on high competition keywords.

I am buying fiverr gigs - just video content creation - and that's all. But I never tried to buy backlinks from them since I heard a couple of times that after buying gig from them, their site deindex and found nowhere in google.

Never use Fiverr for SEO services. The only service I would recommend using them for would be cheap article writing and video introductions.
