checking backlinks to a single page

I have a question I would appreciate some advice on.

What is the best way to find out how check the number of backlinks, if any, going to a particular page within a site.

I am not asking about the site overall, just certain pages within it.

      Any decent keyword tool will do this. You can add a url and then search.

        I would suggest using the Firefox browser and using some of it's great addons if you need a good free SEO tool - addons - SearchStatus, SeoQuake, Rank Checker

          You can go to Yahoo Site Explorer to check the number of backlinks!

            You can check using webmaster tools.

            But to see only the page that you want you will need to expand all sites that reference your site and then add only those that fit your criteria.

            It's not very nice but it depends on how many backlinks you have.

            For a low number of backlinks it's not bad but for a larger number you should do something else
