Is Facebook PPC getting too expensive?

Hello Internet Marketers! I am brand new to the forum, and a bit of an intermediate at Internet Marketing. I have a question about Facebook PPC.

I watched a training on using Facebook PPC with CPA offers and it highly recommended using countries like Singapore and Saudi Arabia because of their cheap clicks. I took a break from IM, and have now come back to find that since I watched that training 3-4 months ago the clicks are basically twice or three times as expensive.

My question is, is Facebook PPC becoming too expensive now and are there possibly better ways to make money from CPA Offers (other than blogging, seo, social media etc.)

I've found that as Internet Marketers there are often waves that we need to surf, and then jump off at the right time onto the next wave... I feel I've missed this wave already.

Any suggestions/help??

Thanks - Have an awesome day.

Depends what you classify as expensive. I am still getting clicks around 10 cents and below promoting to traffic in the United States. If you are paying too much then you need to get your CTR up. Try testing some new images to increase your click through rate.

Hey there Sydney man! Crazy flooding up north of you.

Wow, so you can get 10c clicks in the states. You obviously don't get that immediately but later on as you increase your CTR? That's amazing. If you'd mind sharing some more tips on how you do that, that would be awesome.

      Thankyou Will.

    Luke,

It would only take me about a day (depending on the daily budget set), if that, to get the clicks down around the 10 cent mark if it was ever going to happen. Sometimes I will only get it down around 20 cents, other times down and below 10. It all depends on your ctr. It's that simple.

The higher you can get your CTR the lower your clicks will be. There are various threads on this forum that talk about ways to increase your CTR with Facebook Ads. They mostly talk about the image being the most important part - and I tend to agree. Images with people in them, especially girls, always get higher CTRs. Images with bright colors and/or arrows in them work well also.

There is no wrong or right answer. You just need to get 5 - 10 different images and test them against one another. You will soon find a winner. Search the forum for 'facebook ads' and you should find some good information to help you.

I was killing it in CPA with overseas clicks. I think i was doing less than .03 a click then there was a FB re-adjustment and not some of those cpa landing pages are marked as damaging.

    dooooh

just the headache of getting approved sucks so split testing becomes a pain when your trying to optimize a campaign.

but in my opinion, fb ppc charges go up unless you can rotate in new ads (takes a lot of work unless you have a program that can make ads, ones i've used are flaky)

  • In a competitive marketplace the market will determine the price. It's business 101.

Expensive to you may be cheap to someone else.

I set my click through rate based on what I am willing to pay. Set it too low and your impressions will drop to nothing. Set it too high and your expenses go through the roof. You need to find a balance you are comfortable with between cost and desired impressions.
