I was going through my mail the other day and noticed I received some mail from

google. To my suprise it was a $100 Adwords gift card. I was really excited

because as someone who is new to IM, I was like woo hoo free money. But

then I realized I have no idea what to do with it. So I hope some warriors will

have some advice for me. I have a blog at wordpress.com about a CB product

in the make money online niche that is set to launch next month and my blog

ranks no. 1 on google, yahoo, and bing for the that product here review

keywords at the moment. So my question is what should I do with the $100

credit? Should I use it for my WP . com blog or should I use it on something

else? Any Ideas?

Well the obvious answer would be to use it. But there isn't enough room here to give you a tutorial on Google Adwords and all it's do's and dont's. A search of this very forum should give you more than enough information to get started.

Use it wherever you think that it might do the most good for you. For example, if you have an affiliate website which primarily sells say, cell phones, then do an adwords campaign to help drive traffic to that site. Of course, the actual ad would be something which compels people to visit your site and buy cell phones.

Adwords can also work well for sites which directly sell your own products. I don't think that Adwords is as advantageous for review sites nor other content sites though.

Thanks Darrel! But as of right now I only have a review site so I think ill have to use it for

that. It does expire in a couple of weeks so I want to use it before i lose it. And like i said

hopefully it will let me learn something new!

      • Without knowing your niche, you could try this plan:

Say your niche is (for some variety) dog training

Use Adwords to ask a Q "What is the frustrating thing about training your
        dog? answer & get a free e-book!" etc. & direct them to a new URL/contact form/email address

Say 30 people answer, you now have 30 ideas on writing an e-book (important because these people are telling you what they want to hear, you dont have to sit there & think "what should i write about")

Write the e-book & send it to those that replied, in return for feedback/testimonials

Then launch your e-book on your landing page & use the free testimonials to help sell it
