You basically put up the adsense ads on your websites and when people click on the ads you earn money. You get paid per click.

You can start by having good content on your blog that gives value to all readers. Then you can put adsense ads in different places in your blog that your visitors can click on.

Activate your google adsense and place their ads. You can earn money when your visitors click to your ads or your site receives high traffic.

Try using automatic social bookmarking with onlywire. That will bring some quick and regular traffic, if your content is regularly updated and interesting.

Putting the AdSense ads onto your site is easy once you have an AdSense account.

Earning decent cash from AdSense is the challenging part. You need to get traffic to your blog. And, only a small percentage of that traffic will actually click on one of your ads.

Getting the traffic is relatively easy but it is a process that requires work and will build over time. Then you need to 'feed' to continue the traffic flow.

The most challenging part is keeping your targeted traffic on your site long enough to read and hopefully click on an ad. This is where the content part is so important. You have about 25 seconds to get your reader to read your content and want to know more, causing them to click on your ads. And all without directly telling them to 'click' as that is a major AdSense violation.

Another thing- in writing your content, Google needs to be able to easily tell what your content is about so that it puts contextually relevant ads on the page\post.

Do you have a website that gets lots of traffic?

I just recently found that I wasn't using google adsense to it's full potential. I have PR4 and PR5 sites I never had one google ad on them and I have had these sites for years. It just goes to show if you have websites that are getting good traffic then they are great to put google ads on them.

One thing I have noticed is many small towns still don't have good keywords for many basic business's such as carpet cleaning, excavators, appliance repairs. These are a great place to start to setup a couple of niche sites and watch your traffic grow.

If you have designed the blog, the next thing is to insert Google ads to it. To do that just register for Google adsense, if you are approved, then generate google ads code and insert it in your blog through easy adsense plugin or any other advertisement plugin you know.

Make sure the ads appear in your sidebars by using wedgets to do that.

      Thanks

You have to create a website first.

It may be in free hosting like Blogger or wordpress.

Or you may buy domain and hosting then make a website.

Then populate it with good quality articles and put Adsense ads in your site.

When people click on that ads you will get the money.

Put the ads on your website. Done! and position them properly.

One advice for all adsense newbies : Never try to manipulate clicks, in adsense google is even smarter than you think!

The key thing to start with is to apply to join Adsense only once you have a website or blog which is likely to attract ads. So - it may be worthwhile setting up a site solely with the intention of having your application to adsense approved. Choose a subject matter that would attract a lot of Google advertisers and ensure that the site has all the features a site of that type would have. Then you are likely to sail through the application process. This may take some time, however. You may need to have patience!

    Hi addison146,

when you place your adsence ads, i will suggest that you put one at the top of the article, one at the bottom and the another one in the left sidebar because the clicking rate is higher (from my experience).

    Hope this helps
