Yesterday I started 5 campaigns on google adwords at 2pm EST and here was my ending numbers for the day:

112 clicks
16,249 impressions
total cost: $12.03

Today everything is the same as yesterday and I only have 3 clicks and 32 impressions as of 12pm EST, this has been like this since 8am this morning.

**edit**: all of my ads are still "approved" and say they are running.

Is google adsense working for everyone else?

    Congratulations.

I think it is good in the beginning of the campaign.

As an experiment you can change the position of your ads for increasing earning.

today for some reason it seems froze/not working

I was hoping for 2x the numbers as yesterday since it would be running all day long.

I am not sure how to change the position of my ads... are you referring to the "placement tool"?

If you're going to use a tool, and Adwords is a tool, you MUST learn the lingo and how to use the tool. The Adwords FAQ can help you get started.

Quality Score or QS is everything in PPC. It can be your best friend as well as your worst enemy.

Position can be manipulated with your bid. But it's better to try to improve your QS.

My guess is that you are opted-in to the content (display) network. It's on by default. Turn it off. If you want to use it, keep your search campaigns separate from your content campaign.

You are likely getting the vast majority of your impressions from the content, if not all of them. If so, what has happened is that the system over-delivers ads in order to quickly get data. Your ads are ranked based on quality and the system needs enough information before "settling down", that's why it over delivers at first. Now, it has determined your quality and is delivering normally. But your quality is likely low and why you are not showing up. It's not frozen, it's just following it's programming based on the input given.

I'm going to test this out so I shut off all of my campaigns but one just.

I went ahead and turned off the "Display Network" and changed the devices to only display on desktops and laptops (which is where I need them targeted).

Since those changes have been made do I need to create a whole new campaign, or should I just sit back and give it some time to apply/replicate the changes?

    thanks again.
