OK,
Read what people thought a few years ago, have my own thought about it but what do you think?

Does buying traffic to your site works? Is it real traffic or bots or an automated machine? Anyone tried or know something about it? Sounds suspicious and too good to be true....found an offer for 20,000 visitors for $24.

Anyone knows anything about this?

Thank you.

I don't think these cheap traffic providers have a quality. I have tried many services. But I couldn't get a benefit from it

Think about it: if someone can get 20,000 visitors do you really think he would sell that cash cow for $24 ?

It all depends. There is 1st tier, second tier and third tier paid traffic.
(Google, Yahoo, Bing are first tier)
(7search, adbrite are some what second and third)
    (ask.com/cpa advertising is third tier)

I don't choose 7search or adbrite anymore because the traffic isn't as valuable.
They sent me 2k unique traffic and didn't get any conversions to my lead page.

Ask.com is pretty popular and can work if targeted right.

CPA is also good for global markets and if you have the right budget.

20,000 visitors at $24???I think this is fake and automated programmed visitors. I don't think you can be benefited from such investment.

No way getting 20k visitors for $24 is any kind of decent or targeted traffic.

Look at it this way - say your site/page is based around a KW that only gets 5k broad match searches (according to the adwords KW tool) per month. What's this service gonna do - send you traffic for 4 months?

Hell, for less than $75 you could buy traffic to your site for an entire year.

    I don't think so.

      Touche Louise...well put

Unless you are talking about Adwords or something of the sort, I would advise you to stay away. The only way that you are going to make money is through TARGETED traffic...period. Everything else is a big waste of time and money. Especially if you are trying to gain traffic to a site with AdSense. Just don't do it

Excuse my naiveness, but why on earth would you want to "buy" traffic?
