Hello Warriors,

Around a month ago one of my sites started receiving over 200 backlinks a day from one blog comment. I posted this on Warrior forum to find out why. I was told I was best comment.Someone on this board said that can happen and it happened to them already.Anyway the backlinks eventually peaked at 1,781 on 01/24/11 then gradually dropped off to around 1,200. In the last three days the backlinks have jumped to over 3,000 from this one source for some unknown reason.

I have read that Google does not like more that 200 backlinks a day.

Is my site going to be penalized for all these backlinks? What should I do?

Any advise will be greatly appreciated,

Richard

Where did you get that nonsense from?

Does Wikipedia get banned for having 25,000,000 backlinks to different articles on their site?

    No!

They get to be number one on every page you do searches on for a wide variety of search terms.

You're totally fine. It means that the comment went viral- it happens all the time. You won't be penalized if it's all from the same domain or IP if that's what you're worried about. Google only considers this ONE unique link.
