I created a blog around a month ago. it has been live since around the 3rd of January. i have been:

-adding new content: roughly 500-600 words SEO optimized weekly
-submitting articles (500 words seo opt.) to ezine, etc
-created/submitted xml sitemap
-10 .gov/10 .edu blog comments
-have all-in-one-seo pack and enabled on WP
-social bookmarking everything new i do (articles, new site content)
-pinged site last night with pingler and pingoat

i went on a webiste tool 3 days ago and it said my site has not been placed yet on google/search engined and has an N/A for rank.

i asked a question very similar last night but the answers i got didn't quite answer the question. any one else have any recommendations?

    What is your question.

Your title asks why it is placed on Google and you say the tool says it is not.

What is it you want to know?

This can happen, when people don't quite understand the question. What exactly does "placed/ranked" mean? Either it's indexed or it isn't: Is My Site Indexed? Find Out In Two Easy Steps!

Can you show your blog URL. Getting a page rank is not so easy. Google will do page rank updation only 4 times in a year. So you need to wait for getting a page rank for your blog.

I think what the OP is meaning to say, is why is he not RANKED in the SERPs. Reason is, either your keyword is highly competitive, or you just don't have enough links. That is all.

If your On-page work like Title, Description, Meta tag are not done properly then Google will not cached your page or will not show a rank. So please check your On-page optimization. If It's OK then Create a do follow back link to your site. By doing so, Your page will be ranked by Google.

If your concern is indeed regarding your SERP RANKING, it's all about your seo. There are many parts to SEO, so it would be hard to fully answer your question here. One thing you can do is start building backlinks by linking back to your site from other web 2.0 sites. You can also do some social bookmarking. Beyond those two oversimplified answers, you really need to spend some time learning the basics of on-page and off-page seo. There are plenty of free guides around the net that can give you an introduction. After you have the basics down, there are plenty of advanced techniques on this forum and in the WSOs.

It simply means you need more SEO work to do in your blog. Ranking cannot achieve overnight.

More work will need to be done especially if what you are wanting is to be recognised. If you are trying to build a blog that is currently a very competitive market, getting mini blogs on other sites will help. All natural traffic leading back to your site will help
