Need Traffic But It Can't Cost Anything

Niche forums can generate easy free traffic.

You have to give them a reason to visit your site, free pdf, downloads, videos, etc... related to whatever the forum is looking for, or being charged for already.

Establish yourself on niche forums & build some trust, I did this & I'm still making $$ every single day from free content I created 4-years ago.

Ask youself, why should anyone visit your site, can I get something free, is it better than the next guys site?

All traffic costs something, even if its "just" time.

maybe you should try writing a few articles and sending them to the top article directories...it will certainly bring some traffic

Well, if it's free traffic you're looking for, then you're gonna have to take the time-based route of doing things.

If you wanna use this model, then leverage sites that already have a tendency to get love from google with very good KW research. Find KWs that get a decent number of searches, and have competition on the first page of google that you can easily (for lack of a better term) outrank.

Create awesome content around these KWs and post to said sites - e.g. EZA, GoArticles, squidoo. Possibly create videos (camtasia has a free 30-day trail, IIRC) and submit to youtube. Once your content is published, ping it. Being published on such big sites, it should get indexed fairly rapidly by the search engines.

Then build backlinks to your content in the form of social bookmarks. Cross post articles (i.e - article 1 links to article 2 and vice versa) as well as from article directory to article directory to youtube to (insert site here). Create more backlinks by submitting blog posts, to blog networks, and to smaller articles directories.

(This, of course, all implies that your content is related to each other.)

If you did your KW research well and went after obtainable results in google, hopefully you're soon seeing your content show up in google.

Of course, along the way, you need to be testing stuff like headlines, resource boxes for CTR rates, etc. Getting eyeballs on your content isn't worth anything if you can't get them from your content to your pitch.

That should at least get you started.

I tell people this all the time. If you need traffic and are not sure where to get it. Head straight to EZineArticles and Hubpages.com. Start creating massive guides that include every detail for something in your niche. You can create videos to post on Youtube to generate some interest in what you are doing. You can then use the videos on your website or on HubPages.com

Agree with @syra, will take time to build but done right will be great for you!

I'll start to build backlinks then, thanks for the information and if anyone wants to help me set up the things syra says and get paid for it after I've recieved payment I will gladly reward them.

Good and unique content can generate more traffics. if you don't want to spend money, then you must work hard for it.
