I'm going to be promoting a new website using web 2.0 sites like hubpages & squidoo & building
baklinks & article marketing targeting a keyword phrase.

I've got some tools at my disposal like se nuke & some other tools
to mass create web 2.0 properties & build backlinks.

I've heard that if you go to fast your site will be sandboxed by
Google how do I keep this from happening for a new site.

You heard wrong. You will be just fine. Just because you build a certain amount of back links in a certain amount of time doesn't mean google will find them all at once.

I've heard so many different opinions on this. Many people say it doesn't matter. My personal experience (and I'm only speaking for myself), I just recently experienced this myself. I have three examples for three different internet marketing products.

The first product I took my time and built backlinks slowly over about a month. The second product I built a crapload of backlinks the first two days and my blog post went from page 6, to page 15, to vanishing. The third blog post, I have made no specific backlinks at all and it is #1 for my keyword phrase broad search out of over 13,000,000 results. Don't ask me!

These are internet marketing products that all the regulars are promoting, so there is competition.

If you want to see if I'm being honest, here:

    In Google search

product #1: auto cash hijack bonus (friedwires.com is my site for all of these)

    #2: seo business box bonus

    #3: point copy profit bonus

    Google is such a pain.

I'll take it easy & build quality web 2.0 profiles & relevant high PR backlinks and make it look naturally.

How did you link some of these, did you link directly to your web page
or did you first build a web 2.0 site & use that as a hub linking to
      your money site,

Also how many backlinks a day do you think would be safe to build.

For the first product, I just linkwheeled around my main blog post.

For the second product, I made a few good web 2.0 sites that pointed to my main post, and linkwheeled around the web 2.0 sites.

Obviously for the last product I did no linking.

I did about two or three backlinks a day (not including social bookmarking, rss feed submits) for the first product.

My main site I'm ranking for in the search engines is a post on a Wordpress self-hosted blog. It's not my first post. I have several posts on the blog.
