Adsense How its work?

Hi everyone I am new in web site business and I need you help to understand how Adsense works.
I read google adsense policy and it say If you running Adsense on your site you cannot your
Advertise your site as PPC on Google or… and you cannot Advertise your website in classified site like greagslist or backpage and so…
And also you cannot Put your site on Facebook ...
If it is correct or I missing something? Please I need your All warriors members help to understand better how Adsense works.

I dont have any trouble so far on this.I am working with adsense since till 2008 and I promote it everywhere like facebook,classified etc.As far I know you are not allowed to advertise your sites in PTC or traffic exchange sites.

email marketing works well, especially if you use a optin, and then send them to a page with adsense on it. Adsense is all about CTR (how many click on links compared to how many people view the page)
