Hello guys,

I am promoting physical products from Amazon site. The Keyword(s) I want to target is/are "Product Name Review". I am using Traffic Travis to analyse difficulty ratings, backlinks etc etc.

Google Results are as follows:

1. reviews.cnet.com - PR5(page itself is PR5) - Page BLs: 800+
2. consumersearch.com - PR4(page itself is PR4) - Page BLs: 0
3. zdnet.com - PR5(page itself is PR5) - Page BLs: 0
4. retrevo.com - PR5(page itself is PR5) - Page BLs: 1+
5. testfreaks.co.uk - PR2(page itself is PR2) - BLs: 1

Traffic Travis Difficulty rating is "Relatively EASY".

So, should I go with this Keyword(s) or leave it because of the PRs these resulted sites have...?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
FAI.

I'd like to hear the forums take on this too because I've shied away from competition of this nature, but should I really have?

Don't worry about the main domain PR so much, worry about the page you are targeting and the keywords.

You'll likely never beat the reviews.cnet.com because of the 800+ backlinks for that page, but the other ones certainly look soft with 0-1 backlinks each.

BUT, are you going by Google backlinks, or Yahoo backlinks? I frequently see pages where Google lists 0 backlinks, but Yahoo lists hundreds. Those could kill you.
