That's the beauty of reality......your buying it isn't required for it to be true. And by the way, it would do nothing to compromise the integrity of the Google search engine. Sites aren't ranked by Adsense.

Naive much? What does dumb have to do with it? Google is a corporation, not God. It's a corporation made up of people, and people aren't perfect. For all they know, the "competition" click bombing your Adsense was actually someone you hired to clickbomb your way to Adsense riches. Oh, wait, no one would ever do that, because that would be dumb. :rolleyes:

Unless they are smart enough to be using the "allowed sites" filter ;-)

Its not a prevention against clickbombing, but it disallows someone from using your PUB id on an unauthorized site.

You can set up an "allowed sites" filter on your Adsense dashboard

And I doubt EZA would be banned. They generate a retarded amount of income that G would probably just refund the advertisers without doing anything to EZA.

I've heard 20m+ page views per month or $10k+ a month and they'll contact you, you'll get a personal Adsense rep that you can report to that helps you optimize things. This is probably the level where you're safe.

Be very careful participating in such an experiment. You could be charged for fraud if its proven that it (the clicking) was premeditated. This thread has all the evidence they would need to convict you.

You will also need a different physical address, phone number, ip address and name. You would be advised to also use a different PC. A virtual pc using VMware would probably do.

Don't bother doing this test. It can only end one way and it will bring you grief one way or the other. My advice is simply don't use adsense because you can get banned at any time for whatever Google wants to ban you for. I don't trust my business with it any more.

I had some really angry person in Miami go OFF on one of my Golf Equipment blogs a few years back.

I send the Adsense team a log of my stats to show them where it came from and banned the IP range from his area for awhile. Pain in the butt.

The Adsense team thanked me for the action, but also said they have protections built-in to protect the Adwords advertisers and the Adsense publisher from that.

I think the OP is right and wrong. I think adsense is smart enough not to ban an adsense account off of someone click bombing you if you have a proven track record with adsense. For example this gentlemen who says he barely uses adsense and now he's gonna test this theory, well his account most likely will be banned because you have no solid track record with google and they'll assume you're trying to fudge the numbers. Those with years of a proven solid adsense track record are probably not susceptible to this. Just my 2 cents.

An extra measure for adsense publishers is to connect their account with Google Analytics also.

That way, you show that you have nothing to hide and also provide google all the details that you are inoccent.

This is a good thread. A lot of me agrees with MG when he's busting the OP's balls. At the same time I kind of agree with the OP's rationale. I'd never be confident enough in that belief to risk it though.

However, when my girlfriend first found out i was into internet marketing she clickbombed my website in an attempt to help me and give me some enthusiasm bless her! i got annoyed at her when i found out and told her she might have just ruined my IM career. However, nothing happened, i think they just recalculated it and took away my adsense clicks.

Also it's worth pointing out that my website looked about as spammy as humanly possible. Not because it was spammy, but because I'm absolutely crap at web design stuff lol.

I guess they would be looking for a consistent daily pattern or something for it to raise alarms.
