Whats better, backlinking service or hire someone on odesk to do backlinking?

I know a little about seo and using my keywords. I am not into backlinking, I don't really even know much about it. I haven't really even made a backlink besides the one in my sig. How can I learn about backlinking so I can outsource it or is it best just to use a service?

    well you definitely should learn how to build your own link building strategy.

    Quality links over quantity. Start to dig into a seo pyramid. top is your money site.
    second layer is say web 2.0 properties with uniques artlices with linkt o money site.
    low quality links to the web 2.0 sites,

    low quality links I mean profile links,xrumer blasts, blog commenting, unless your doing do follow quality blog commenting on high pr blogs send these type to your site.

    theres a basic starting model.

    then dive into really learning trust rank and the world can be yours.
