Yes it does. For both Amazon and Adsense. You need to break outside of the box though and stop using the "popular" made for adsense wordpress themes. Do excellent keyword/competition research and ad placement.

    It's there.

I no longer make these sites, but this is how I got started out in SEO/SEM/IM. I have a site still to this day, that I haven't touched in over a year, that ranks #1 for its 3-word phrase, or keyword, that easily makes $2.5+ every single day without question.

Here are the STATISTICS for this one keyword my "micro niche site" is based around, per Google Adwords Keyword Tool:

    880 Exact Local Monthly Searches
    1300 Exact Global Monthly Searches
$2.74 Avg. CPC (so expect half or less per click)

With these search numbers the site makes $75+ every single month with zero upkeep.

My site is the ONLY PR0 with 43 Inlinks showing in Yahoo! Site Explorer. I rank above the shopping results, obviously. The other 9 sites on page one are (in order):
    PR0 <--ME
    PR1
    PR1
    PR2
    PR2
    PR4
    PR3
    PR1
    PR5

Goes to show what some good On-Site SEO can do for you

HTML/CSS style template, two small pictures, keyword density 4.83%, 4 pages + about, contact, privacy, sitemap.

    (2) ads displayed: 300x250 text ads (above fold/content) 120x90 ad links (under sidebar)

There! Just laid it out for you! If I were smart, or patient?! I'd make a hundred more sites like this! LOL! But when I choose keywords and do research and create sites and content... It takes me more than an hour, unlike what a lot of other people claim... And I don't outsource. And Adsense isn't my bread and butter.

I believe "micro niche sites" are probably the best way for a new Internet Marketer to test the waters and get their feet wet. Gotta lay a strong foundation before you build higher!

Hi Scott, May I know do you use Allintitle/allinurl for your keywords to measure the competition? For the above said exact search what will be the limit for your keywords allintitle/allinurl.

      Thank you

        Hey Pons,

Honestly, the keyword research that works for me is very simple. I look at exact monthly searches and the top 20 results returned for that term. I always do my SEO the same... So I make sure I've got my intitle/inurl, headers, internal linking, bold words, anchor text, description, etc better than majority of the competition.

I try to look for atleast one spot on the first page that is a PR2 or below and their backlinks and onsite seo to see how easy it would be to outrank them... And go from their.

I kind of jump to conclusions from past experiences and utilize tools like Traffic Traffic, SEOBook for Firefox and Toolbar, SEOQuake, Scrapebox, Adwords keyword tool... That's pretty much it for research.

        Hope this makes some sense!

It is scalable. If you build hundreds of Micro Niche Websites and they all make 1 $ per day each, you´ll earn hundreds of Dollars daily, and thousands per month.

It works for sure, really good way to get started in the game... some choose to move up to make huge authority sites out of the smaller niches and never look back.

      I am doing both.

Small niches, large niches... and learn/test new things on a weekly basis

Love playing around and doing the research for these small sites. However, I would not recommend getting into a habit of producing one page sites. Easy to in trouble with Big G and even easier for someone to outrank you.

      Just not my thing.

I work for a law firm now that let's my creative SEO/SEM/Web Design juices flow.

The "leads" I've generated thus far will generate the firm well over $3 million, and I've been there 4 months!!

My percentage is a secret But I can tell you it's A LOT more than I'll ever make doing anything else online... Ever.

That's why. If I wasn't met with this opportunity, I probably would have 100 adsense sites popping $2-4 a day. And that's not a bad living either.

            @ SEOGUY

About, Contact, Privacy, Disclaimer (whatever) do NOT count as pages of content... Don't count them as pages at all... If on the other hand you had your Micro Niche site with an article then maybe 3 or 4 OTHER pages that had articles on even more micro microness of your niche, you're sites would have been just fine.

            @ MARCO005

You can have 200 different Ad Channels set up under one account. You should never need more than ONE Google Adsense account. You could put ads on 1000 sites.... Then again you would be putting all of your eggs in one basket.

If you don't have MORE than 100 Websites, I wouldn't even think about duplicate Google Adsense Accounts.

    Absolutely!

You should be aiming for at least 50 of these though. Sounds crazy in the beginning. But the goal is to have each bringing in at least $1-$2 a day. Eventually you'll hit the "$100 a day" mark without requiring too much effort. (Just minor maintenance every once and while.)

No, they are not a good long term strategy. If your "mini-sites" have 10-20 pages of quality content you should be ok.

However, if your building little 1-5 page sites your in violation of Googles quality guidelines. Here's what happened to me. You be the judge.

I had 130 mini adsense sites. These sites were 1-5 pages of content and each page consisted of an article, a Youtube video and 5-10 outbound links to authority sites and had adsense ads.

I was making $300 a day. My adsense checks were around $9000 a month.

Then, 2 weeks ago, ALL 130 of my adsense sites were deindexed in Googles search index. A Google reviewer found one of my sites and then just took my Publisher ID number and found ALL my sites. And my adsense account was NOT banned.

They were all in the same Webmaster Tools account so I logged in and there was a message on all my sites. It said, "Your site may be in violation of Googles Quality Guidelines". Then it said I could fix the sites and submit for reconsideration and "maybe" they will reindex my sites. I redid one site and tried to get them to reindex it but they wouldn't -- no idea why.

So my sites are still indexed and ranked in Bing/Yahoo. The sites are still making around $70 a day, but as you can see I lost most of my income since they're not indexed in Google anymore.

So here's the deal. If you want to do this, do it right. Make sure your sites are 10-20 pages of good quality content. Don't hire one of these $1 per 100 word article writers you will find all over this forum. Their content is crap! Find a more expensive (get what you pay for) article writer. There is a good one like this on this forum.

Don't use one of those wordpress "made for adsense" templates. As soon as a google reviewer finds it -- your gone! And remember, if all your sites are on 1 adsense account you will lose them all at once.

Another thing to do is make 10 or 20 of these sites in one adsense account and then open up a LLC and open a second adsense account and put another 10 -20 sites in that one. And make sure you don't put them all in the same Webmaster tools account or google will find all your sites that way. And make sure you get domain privacy on all your sites.

Then, if a power-tripping google spam employee finds one of your sites and decides to "nuke" it, they won't be able to nuke the other adsense sites in your second account. So you won't lose all your income at the same time.

Google is on a "mentally ill" mission to destroy it's own advertising platform. They simply don't care. They care about their search results and are aggressively deindexing sites that aren't "quality".

In fact, I thought my sites were quality! So I went to Googles Forum and put one of my sites out there and asked them what was wrong with it. Their response was interesting. They said that my sites aren't giving the searcher what they're looking for. But I thought they were!

What i was actually doing was referring people to other sites. That is how the visitor would find what there looking for. For example, if my site is about furniture, the visitor will see adsense ads about furniture (as well as an article and youtube video). When the visitor clicks one of my adsense ads they will find what their looking for. So sites that "refer" people to other sites and don't provide "quality" content are not quality and are basically spam. Most affiliate sites are spam too. (according to Google).

So if you wan't to avoid all this crap, just build small affiliate sites. Put domain privacy on all of them. So if a google reviewer finds one of your affiliate sites, they will probably deindex it. But if you have 10 of these sites -- they aren't connected to each other in any way. So you may lose 1 site, but not all 10 at the same time.

    Just a thought.

If the bounce rate is high, it probably suggests that your site is not what the searcher is looking for. Sounds like Google want people to come to your site and hang out there as oppose to go anywhere else. The ideal Adsense sites on this basis are ones with low click though rate - the info they want is there so why go anywhere else.

I reckon what is advocated in Internet Marketing forums such as this is wrong. Here people are concerned about getting a high click through rate and the like, all of which is going to end up in tears.

To make money on Adsense, in a prim and proper way is to create a site that attracts thousands of visitors and a very low click through rate. All of which is not a simple straight forward thing to do.

The only alternative is to creat not too many MFA sites such that earnings at the lower end of the scale and the person stays under the radar.

    Hello TheAdsenseGuy,

i dont understand why google deindex really working adsense sites?

So you have 10 mini sites with 5-8 product pages, or 20 mini sites, so tehy work, i think that is google equal. why google should they deindex?

Or it is better when i make 10-20 mini sites, in my own person, to make 10-20 different google accounts, so a account for each mini site? Thats would not be a problem for google???

I would suggest a site specific to Adsense OR Amazon OR Clickbank... If you give your visitors too many options you'll end up losing out.

This is what I've experienced and heard from other Warriors. An Adsense site is an Adsense site. An Amazon review site is an Amazon review site.

If you make an awesome review site for Amazon products, you don't want the visitor to click on an Adsense ad for 15 cents causing you to miss out on a $5 sale or whatever... And vice versa.

The Xfactor/Clickbump method can suck on my hang down. J/K! Sort of! They made some GREAT plugins and and some themes for beginners. I'm not dissing either one of the guys or their products - They are brilliant IMer's IMO... They've made a TON of money off of Internet Marketers! :p

Xfactor doesn't even f*ck around with micro niche adsense/review sites anymore and hasn't for a long time.

It's almost common knowledge NOT to put both on CPC & Affiliate sales on one site... One will always take away from the other. Don't believe everything you read in an eBook you purchased b/c I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but A LOT of the stuff floating around out there is bogus crap.

No offense to anyone so don't jump on me... I don't want to hear it. Really... Lol!

      Do this MARCO005:

Once your site is ranked and getting steady traffic use ONLY Adsense for ONE month - the following month take off all Adsense and use ONLY Amazon - the following month use BOTH. See what works best for you...

That's how real "Internet Marketers" hone their skills and gain experience... Trial and error... What works for you (or me or Xfactor or whoever) may not work for the next guy...

P.s. Cost per Adsense ad click will increase over time... You won't be getting the high clicks for AT LEAST the a month or two.

If you put only AdSense on site, it becomes MFA or low quality site which Google do not want in their index. If you diversify to more, you give more choices to visitors, but your website becomes less MFA. This is especially true with XFactor mini-sites.

Where did you come up with "If you put Adsense on a site, it becomes MFA or low quality site which Google do not want in their index."

The entire point of Adsense/Micro Niche Sites is to give visitors limited options. Guess what..! I have a couple of what you could call "MFA" sites that actually help their visitors - They answer their questions and I'm presenting them with options and information. They are far from "low quality" that you speak of. And they are MFA sites... The sites I've made target micro niches/keywords with low competition that people are searching for. The sites are easy to rank, actually HELP the visitors to the site, and since they are MFA sites, I added two Adsense blocks to each page. It's a win-win b/c I get clicks and they get what they're looking for.

Work on your grammar... Google doesn't want grammatically incorrect crap in their index either.

MOST Xfactor/Clickbump/MFA sites are CRAP... Complete and utter CRAP. I said MOST, so don't get offended if you have one, or fifty, that are not CRAP. I actually feel sorry for the searchers that unfortunately click on these sites in the SERPs that are looking for some type of answer or help.

It's the people who say "I'll build 20 sites a day easy." Really?! That's a load of crap too. You don't think Google will look at your site and say "Oh look more advertisements and affiliate links, probably b/c we only let people put 3 Adsense blocks on a page?!"

          Come on guy.

          Adsense/Amazon Review Sites 101:

Highly targeted keywords, unique content, limited OUTBOUND links.

          Durrr.

With product content based AdSense website if you assume placing only AdSense ads throughout website without giving visitors what they came for and refering them through ads is the right thing to do, then you are wrong. Your website is just an obstacle in this case.

I don't know if sticking product ads will help somehow.

This is why Google are now stricter than ever and even delist/penalize websites that are of good quality and do not deserve this. They do not want mini-sites any longer, they want authority websites.

You will be safe until some incompetent reviewer from AdSense quality team comes and decides your website/websites worth nothing. So if you think you are safe, think again.

Thank you for analyzing my post Boris_yo. Where did I mention that product Ads was the way I helped visitors?

Like I stated above: The websites that I created back in the day that were/are categorized as "Micro Niche/Made For Adsense" whatever you want to call them (I stopped making these types of sites a long, long time ago) all had unique content that was relevant to the search terms and phrases I was targeting and ranking for. Therefore, visitors were greeted with information they were looking for + Adsense ads to click if they wanted to.

Try to keep outbound links to a minimum. Durr. We're talking review/adsense sites right? That's kind of a no brainer. Give too many options and you're results are going to be too little.

So lets recap: A site with unique content that helps visitors who click on a site the Search Engines return for their search term/phrase. If I did my competition/keyword/SEO research correctly, maybe one of my sites will be the one they visit... B/c I did my competition/keyword/SEO research correctly. Oh, and the site has Adsense on it.

Nope don't see any problem with this type of site, and either does Google. As for someone's personal opinion... That's theirs to make. And opinions are like a$$holes... I really don't want to hear them

That article is talking about sh*tty backlink building and EMD's. Quality content does not make for a quality site... That is correct. Google can de-index or slap anyone at anytime if they want to.

Do I think I'm safe..?? Yeah. As safe as the next. Should people get scared?! No. Should you put all of your eggs in one basket and make a butt load of Xfactor/Clickbump/Micro Niche/EMD sites... Probably not.

Start small - Get a good domain name - Build up an Authority Site that has a couple thousand pages/posts instead that would contain the otherwise 300 mini sites in itself.

You know that's what Xfactor does/has right?!

With product sites, as long as visitor gets what he was searching for. If visitor was searching for "item + review" and landed on your EMD where you are reviewing item then that might be okay. But if he just wanted to buy item and landed on your website which has simple article and exists solely for purpose of referring visitor through ads that might be a problem. But i heard even websites considered quality ones end up in trouble.

I don't think XFactor does mini-sites any longer. He said his mini-sites got now over 100 pages of content. I don't remember him endorsing mini-site model. If i remember correctly he suggested to grow mini-sites into authority sites. But many/most people obviously ignored that part, saw that their mini-sites rank for EMDs without much work and started duplicating their achieved success. Sadly they did not put enough work on making their websites look good and slapped only AdSense on them.

Mini-sites might work, but for short-term.

I build sh*tty backlinks and good backlinks!!! :p LOL!

Xfactor has an authority site with THOUSANDS of indexed pages in the medical niche... If you want to call that broad spectrum a niche. He posted it around here somewhere a long time ago.

His site gets a stupid amount of visitors everyday and makes a stupid amount of money from Adsense everyday... Of course he has his own Google Adsense Account Rep and all that fun stuff that he chats with every day...

Micro sites are a great way (the best way in my opinion) for a new IMer to start out. You get your feet wet with keyword/competition research, learn how to build sites and backlinks, how to rank - Like I said before trial and error is the only way to figure out your way!!!

                  CHEERS!

Yes it is working but do not make this your business model like was said above. If you will, then consider it a short-term. But, if you have a few quality websites, then this probably won't raise alarm with Google. And when putting ads on website, i suggest to put only 1 ad and 1 link ad. Make sure regular ad does not occupy more screen than your content.

    Yes it is still working,
i have many sites with micro niche (search exact per month min. 500)
and based on my experience, sometimes few of my keyword does not require any backlink and it can ranked in page one Google and start produce earning.

I'm finding this discussion quite interesting - I was very late on the mininiche bandwagon, and indeed I don't really want to make it my main business model, just wanted to see if it's still viable really.

My experience is that although the earnings side is totally realistic ($0.50-$1.00 clicks, no problem) I am finding it quite difficult to rank top-ten for this type of site - I certainly haven't, for the most part, experienced this phenomenon of ranking very quickly with virtually no backlinks etc. and I am no SEO newbie, especially with the on-page stuff. I have had maybe one site shoot in at number 2 for its main kwp after about a month, only to disappear soon after.

Some people still claim different - maybe there are other factors at work here and someone can easily say, well, you're probably doing it wrong (naa, I bet I am doing it better than many - I've seen them) - but I am still having to do backlinks and everything, which sort of makes it too much work for me really. Especially as it's, well, a bit of a grey area in terms of Adsense TOS. I mean, this whole idea of, "well, most people haven't been banned doing Xfactor sites (including John - who even has a aff manager?!), but you COULD get banned just because..."

All in all it makes the whole prospect a bit iffy to me, even though I HAVE had sites earn me the fabled $5 a day which, multiplied by a dozen or two WOULD be nice to have as an extra earner.

If anyone has any thoughts on the ranking thing I would be interested to hear.

I really wouldn't recommend it... Much better to pick good niches with just a few more related keywords and gradually build sites with say 10 pages at least. You have more chance of ranking for SOME keywords (even if not the main homepage one), whereas if you build one page-sites around single keywords there is a good chance of not ranking for your entire site - waste of a domain and a waste of work. And imagine that disappointment repeated 100 times!

Actually, I have a one-page site (no privacy policy, NOTHING else!) and it keeps hovering around number 13, and no amount of work seems to help in getting it to page one. Not worth it...
