About 1 week ago I submitted 4 articles to ezine, made 6 web 2.0 sites, and 1 video to youtube. All of those have links back to my website. I had pinged all of those websites, but it's already 1 week now and when I check my website nothing are indexed by the Google or Yahoo.

Is it always take so long to get your links indexed by search engine? Or do I need to social bookmark and submit RSS for every link I made?

Thanks for your help,

Alex

I think you should really do this if you want your links to get indexed faster.

Pinging is not enough. What I normally do is submit the backlink pages to digg, jumptags.com and also various RSS directories...

How I do it is leave it in a sig link on a popular forum. It indexes in about a week to week and a half.

Yes, you should share them to the popular social networking sites. They helps backlinks to index fast to search engine. RSS is also very powerful for indexing backlinks.

If pinging didn't get indexed then you must share them to social media and submit the RSS for every link too. But if you've quality links then it'll index faster.

If I submit my website's link to the social bookmark such as digg, reddit, stumbleupon etc, will the links in social bookmarks site counted as a backlinks?

do you have any recommendation for software that can make my life easier? I'm sick about submitting link to social bookmark and RSS because it wastes a lot of my time..

I usually do social bookmarking for indexing. And I found out that it was effective.

A word to the wise, build more content and make sure you not just posting garbage spun text that the filters are going to knock down. Google and the gang owe you nothing and dont have to index stuff unless you make it worthwhile.

Remember, getting indexed is the easy part, staying indexed is not, especially for spam and the sort. (please dont tell us you linked to the same 1 or 2 urls on all your posts...)
