My SEO techniques, will this work? How can I do it?

Hi, I have a few websites set up now, but I am not getting traffic from the serps. I am in relatively competitive keywords. I would like to get onto page one of google. (Willing to do anything.. (I have a decent budget at the moment.)

So the aims (1 month time scale, I have a bit of time to.):
1.) 1 site 1st page of google. (10k monthly searches but results on page one are: ehow page, wikepedia, bbc news ect.)

2.) Hubpage for less competitive keyword on page 1?

Basically how can I get my sites to page 1? I have xrumer, scrapebox but they do not seem to be working effectively. Could someone explain a system or link to a good SEO WSO?

      Just a quick look & I can tell you the only reason The Cure for Insomnia (1987) - IMDb is ranking is because of wikipedia & their article.

      I know from experience that ehow is great at internal linking, that page has 8 external backlinks in Yahoo Explorer, & is ranking #3 in the SERPs for your keyword.

      eHow is a PR4 that is over 11 years old...

      IMDB is PR3 and 15 years old...

      You have to be very detailed when doing your keyword research. Backlinks aren't everything - PR and AGE are some pretty important factors...

      If the page is like 3, 4, 5 years old - so what... KILL EM!! LOL! But those two sites have age and authority on there side - Plus they are monster TLD's.

    rob/steal/find/buy high PR backlinks.....record all the backlinks for your site and use whichever backlink booster or energizer to give more power to your links. It really will help alot
