How many outbound links for link wheel

I have been reading not to close the loop in link wheel. I have made a few diagrams and I'm wondering how many out bound links can you use per property? Like on the squidoo page or blogger or other web2.0, Can you use only 2 or 3, or how many is best. I can link to the next site, then to the money page, can I also link to another like an article? Thanks.

    You can link to however many pages you want, but they should always be relevant to where the link came from. You should also link outbound to at least two (2) links so Google doesn't flag you for link farming. And yes, do not close the link wheel.

    I think there is no exact number but just don't overdo it. Be clever enough to hide your intention.
