Should most of my backlinks be to my static page or blog?

I have a wordpress site set up as a static main page that gives learn how to ... tips, but at the bottom shows 5 products with star ratings, I also have seperate review pages and a blog. Where should I mostly build backlinks to? Static, Blog, Review Pages. I'm not sure what would be best. If I build the links to the static main page would that help my blog to rank, or do I need to build links to the blog, or to the separate articles in the blog? I know I should do a little for each but what would be best? Sorry for all the questions.

Personally I'd build as many links to my money site as possible...

Obviously you still want a good number of links to your other pages/sites but the ultimate goal has to be generating the traffic to convert in to sales...

I prefer building mine to a static page rather than a blog if you are trying to optimize for a keyword.

I agree with Initial Effort. I would put most my efforts getting back links for static pages rather blog posts. Let the blog posts support the static pages.
