WHAT happened to my site?!?!

Ive been working on a site and i wrote some articles and one of the was ranked 1 on googles first page for 2 keyword and my website was ranked 5th on the first page for a different keyword this morning.


I get on few hours later everything is gone the article the website, im talking it's not even indexed anymore nevermind ranking.


I dont think it's sandboxed i only did maybe 40 backlinks and a few articles and a squidoo...


Help please !

    I updated the website last night, not sure if that would change anything, but it still doesn't make since why my article would go from 1st to nothing.

    My websites are ranking always first for me on this computor.....Google use your preferences to customize your results.

    Do you use a ranking tool??

      Keep in mind that you need to clear your cookies or use a proxy to see your REAL SERP'S.

      If you visit your own site often, Google will rank your own site as the first result, although in fact it is not ranked first

        I'm using the same computer and i wasn't ranked 1st for my website but my article was... and if my PC saved my website or w/e i'd still be ranking on the 1st page wouldn't i?

    I have seen this happen. You say it is not indexed, so when you go to Google and type site:blahblahblah.com (your domain obviously ) it doesn't show anything?

    Keep building links and it will come back over time. Could be days, weeks, months... but as long as you are getting legitimate non-spammy links, it will come back.
