80,000 backlinks in 12 hours? It's best you stop using those auto tools or Big G will get you banned, plus why do you need so much backlinks?.

Have you really checked if relevant backlinks?. It might hurt you more than you think.

You might have paid for 80,000 backlinks but it doesn't mean 80,000 are going to show up over night or ever!

That being said, hold your horses! It doesn't have to be a sprint, take your time and build a reasonable amount in a reasonable amount of time (all subjective/relative of course!)

I'd leave well alone with that site, set up some spread sheets and track SERPs, backlinks and traffic the numbers for the site.

You won't get sandboxed for that because

1... you'd have to be doing some serious backlinking to build that many links,
and 2... none of them will get indexed in 12 hours.

Of those 80,000 you may only get a few thousand to stick, and then it would take a looooong time to index those.

I would rather have say a few hundred quality links rather that 80k links that are low quality and gut feeling tells me you would get a penalty for such a high amount of links in such a short time.

The story of the 'Tortoise and the Hare' comes to mind,but good luck with it you will have to keep us updated on how it went.

NOTHING WILL HAPPEN TO YOUR SITE. It might dance...
I have used xrumer services so i know what im talking about...
make 80% of your links with you main anchor text. and 20% with a slight variation. that way you wont set off any triggers
out of 8000 hardly 500 (this is a very high number) will get indexed....go ahead ...dont be scared.... i have done this with many of my sites ...YOU WILL NOT GET SANDBOXED!!!

sandbox was a created by google in 2005, but soon SEO companies saw a good opportunity and sank the competition by blasting links to the site...google soon saw the flaw and stopped sandboxing sites.....it now merely exists for new unestablished site's...

don't know exactly, but I think its ok. I say this because
1- you won't be sandboxed, because there's no such a thing called sandbox really exists.

2- mostly you won't be deindexed, because if this is possible, people can easily apply this to their competitors and make them go down.

anyhow I think that much backlinks are not good for any site, new or old within such a short time. Because your site is not facebook or some kinda very popular one.

I've never understood comments like this... lets say you create 50 "manual" backlinks from your computer using the same IP address...

Then you create 50 automated backlinks using software using proxies, and you get 50 links from 50 different IP addresses...

Who's going to look more like a "spammer"?

Serious question... don't mean to thread-jack but I'm curious. In my eyes... both methods and considered spam if you're getting backlinks without the site owner's permission, but if you're going to do it you'd save alot of time (and time = $$ in IM) by automating your backlinks.

As an aside... I do both manual (outsourced) and automated (myself) backlinking.

The issue with backlinking whether manual or automated is getting these links indexed and counted. The person that can create a tool/method that is guaranteed to get links indexed/counted will be a very wealthy person, and considered a GOD in IM and SEO. Pinging the hell out of the URLs takes too much time and rarely works.

Update: The product that i am using is Super Backlink Creator and Pinger, and i have purchased a txt with 80 k links to ping it, it usually takes from 8-12 hours to complete and from 80 k it says that 60k at least got posted. The config of my pc is: Quad Core Q8200, 8 GB Ram, Bandwidth 100 mbps, hdd: Seagate 750 GB 32 mb buffer ( It is 2 years old). I need to know for sure am i going to get banned or sanboxed or not, because i counted all the comments, and i think the number of the ones of who says that i am getting banned or sanboxed is almost the same with the ones who says that i am not getting sanboxed. Need more opinions.

Yes it is with automated software a large number of good proxies and a list of suitable sites that will not time out.

Just keep us posted on what's happening to the site.

You may as well be holding a giant sign in front of the Google offices that says "BAN ME PLEASE!"

What you should do, instead, is build them over time. If you've got 80k you can definitely break this up into 100-500 a day. Doing 80k at once and then never again is just asking for your site to be de-indexed.

I'm amazed and shocked too. Why did you choose automated software for link building? I hope It'll not be counted as spam but really it's. Why did you focused on the quantity? Poor backlinks can harms your site where only few quality backlinks can give a good feedback for your site through giving you a good PR.

Building 80,000 backlinks in a day, week, or month is not going to get you banned. If it was that easy, we would all be blasting out 80,000 link packages at our competitors to get them out of the SERPs.

At worst, it may raise a flag that causes someone at Google to do a manual review of your site, but with something like 550,000,000,000 websites on the internet now and tons of new ones created everyday, I don't think they have the time or manpower to worry about such things.

Some strange and conflicting viewpoints here. Looks like the google myths are doing the rounds again. There is absolutely no chance that even 5% of those links will get indexed in the same 24 hr period so it doesn't matter if you did 80k links in a day cos they don't get indexed at the exact same time, and that's what people don't seem to take into account when getting all worked up about 'overlinking'. The indexing process usually spreads itself out over anything from a few hours to a few months so you cannot 'overlink' in a day.

To all those who think automating your link building hurts your rankings, go do some research on the word 'viagra' on google and then check out how many links some of those sites on the first page have. And their content is awful. Some of them are just ugly sales pages. I assure you that the people who own those crappy sites and just do mega xrumer blasts are making 100 x the money most 'ethical' backlinkers are from their pretty little review sites.

80000 backlinks overnight is going to look pretty darn suspicious and I would say you should expect to be sandboxed or banned for it.....but that's if you can actually get 80,000 links in 12 hours. I'm guessing your using software to do it with crap quality links.

You got a point and I wonder, if there is any example for "overlinking" that can be shown having lead to "penalization". I wonder if most massive links aren't just plainly useless.

I had a look and I was surprised that some of them only have little more then 100 links to their domain with some PR 3 or PR 4 links. Other's seem to have done some linkbuilding, but not the 10th of thousands that I initally expected.

After the ranking adjustment 2 weeks ago where a lot of high ranking sites slipped..what you think they all had in common? I don't know, but I would guess a lot of useless, low pr backklinks.

So, take the competiition arguement, where no amount can get you hurt because if so, we'd do it to our competiion, or take the slow and steady 50-60 a day safety arguement. Whichever you choose, once you rank and HOLD your ranking, let us know, so then it can become a case study.

Create those backlinks to ezine articles, hubpages, squidoo lenses..... Better and faster results. And there is no way that these authority sites will raise a red flag since they are already receiving hundreds of backlinks a day.
