My site is actually going down the SERPs!!

I have had this website for about a month exactly. I built backlinks very slowly. It has about 60. This morning, I noticed it was on the 20th page of google for its keyword. About 4th from bottom. I checked 6 hours ago, and it was the 3rd down. So it went down one. Well, last night I bought a backlink service. Only about 15 backlinks have been added so far from the service, and I check right now. It's the last one on the page! So it went down 4 spots today.

I'm trying to think if it is from me buying the backlinks, or just something natural? Will it go back up?

It's a simple case of the Google Dance. Continue building backlinks and you'll be fine.

Your site is a month old. Google has no clue what to do with it. Build backlinks at a consistent rate. It will come around.

That's not even a Google dance. Your site moved down by a couple positions - this stuff happens more than once an hour. Try tracking new website rankings hourly and you'll see what a roller coaster SERPs really are.

I have the same thing happening to a site I am currently working on, it's no big deal and I've seen it before - just keep building up your backlinks and you will get to where you need to be with a little persistence.

Don't think it's the 15 backlinks from the backlink service that changed the rankings. Instead, you gotta continue building.
