Do i Buy it?!

I have a Domain Name potential with a Keyword as the Name "Keyword.org" although my Search engine competition is 7,600 for the "phrase" and the Number one spot has some 5182 back links with the keyword in the Domain like this "Webname.com/documents/Keyword.html" To buy or not to buy...

It would be helpful if I had the actual name, but I would say go for it... is is for a reg fee or more than that?

  Nobody will be able to give you solid answers without knowing the full story behind the keyword.
  
  For starters, we will need to know the keyword. And from your standpoint that would be silly as you could just be handing the domain away.
  
  If you think you have a chance, buy it. Worst case scenario puts you out a few bucks on the domain, and the time you put into it. Best case scenario has you totally missing your income estimates by being way low.

If the keyword is one word and you are going to get the .org I would say it is worth more than you are going to pay, but it will take time to sell. .orgs are generally worth less than a .com as you may realize. I am speaking strictly in selling terms. It is easy for someone to forget .org and go to .com <-- Another reason you may pass.

  1. C'mon it's less than $10/domain/year
  
  2. The page competition is only 7600, with your "keyword".ORG, you can get rank very fast with just a little work of on page seo.
  
  3. Also check the keyword search volume, if the monthly search volume is high...

I think yea, its a must. But you will need to work hard.

Even if you get #2, you will get good traffic.

  i've got a noob question here . i've read a bit about SEO , for this exemple , if i understand well he won't necessary need more backlink than the Top 1 to beat him ?what i mean is , from on page SEO you can beat a 6000 backlinks , let's say just with a couple of backlinks ? , im also aware of the PR rank that boost your backlink power by the way .

If most of the competing pages in the SERPs are weak, go for it. You only need to earn $8 or $10 to cover the domain registration. All things being equal, most well optimized sites can generally do that much in monthly Adsense income.
