Best alternative to Alexa.com?

Hi guys, wondering whats the other sites like alexa, that provide accurate traffic information?

I would just like to cross check a few websites vs what Alexa says.

    how can they provide you exact traffic. it is just simply not possible. but i still love to use them. compete.com and quantcast are good

    Alexa is quite unique in terms of metrics, but only use it as guide. Alexa tells you lots about quantity, nothing about quantity

    If Google can't produce exact traffic stats in their keyword tool, then my guess is that nobody can.

      There is nothing that can gauge your sites or anyone else sites traffic 100% accurately , SEM rush is probably one of the closest for getting keywords traffic and analysing the sites serp results.

      Alexa is total rubbish in terms of guessing a sites traffic because of the way its read, webmaster related sites are always way higher than other sites because webmasters use the toolbar etc.

      For example i have a sports related site with 8 - 16k unqiue visitors per day, Alexa rank of just over 150k , but on the other hand i have a webmaster related site with just under 2k unqiue daily visits and its a 16k alexa rank, as you can see thats a pretty vast difference and therefore makes alexa pointless to use as any kind of gauge.

    I agree with jugroo. I agree that Compete.com and Quantcast.com are good alternatives to Alexa.com.

    The only problem with Quantcast.com, is that unless the site receives a relatively high amount of traffic, or you place their code on the website whose traffic you are attempting to measure, they will not quantify the traffic.

    I just browsed compete. com but that doesnt meets to alexa.I think its hard to check ranks unless a similar alexa site will come up
