I apologize for not getting this in the correct section to begin with. I looked at the SEO section when I first posted but the description only mentioned Adsinse and such stuff. Anyway I just wasn't sure.

I'm setting up a new site and I'm trying to get it clear in my head some of the nuance on keywords.

I have a domain name that is made from a keyword phrase that appears to get about 900 searches a day. That same keyword phrase is the title of the site / landing page. I started looking at other keyword phrases that are variations on the same keywords, for example...

Main keyword : Home Business
secondary keyword : Real Home business
Third keyword : Start a home business

All of these get pretty good numbers but the all contain the main keyword. Will Google see this as keyword stuffing. I suspect that they will see "home business" in all of these as repeated instances of the main keyword.

What I'm trying to do is get search traffic for more than one variation on the keywords or multiple keywords.

Another question I'm not clear on is the "Title". I'm using Socrates for my WP site. In Socrates you set the Title in the header of the page and it carries across all pages. Is this being set as the "title" tag for all pages in the site and if so how does that work with the blog portion of the site since each blog post has its own title and in fact "pages" have their own title which is in addition to the header.
