Does anyone know of a way to sort of reverse engineer which keywords your website is ranking for??

I know there are a ton of tools you can use that you type in the keyword and it checks where your ranked, but say you didn't know which keywords you were ranking for, is there a tool that you can plug in a domain and it tells you all the keywords you are ranking for?

Thanks for any help!

Check out SEMRush. Enter your domain (or a competitors) and it will tell you what terms on that site rank in the top 20 of Google organic search results. You can register for free and get 10 results. Paid plans give you more data.

I haven't used either of these in a while, but Keyword Spy and SpyFu are two other similar services. I think SEMRush updates their database more frequently though.

Google Webmaster Tools. It shows you all keywords your pages rank for, and how many searches have been performed, how many times you link was displayed to the user, and how many times they clicked through. Also shows you where the searches were performed, web, mobile or (very important!) image search.

You can capture a LOT of traffic by properly optimizing images on your site for ranking in Google image search.

If you are going to use the google analytics method, just make sure that you are tracking every page so that you can see when one of your other pages are ranking. This will allow to not only promote to top of your site, but also the deep pages that may be doing well.
