Hi! I made an Amazon review site two weeks ago and currently it is ranking #9 for an 18.000 exact match keyword. Got my first sale yesterday for $400, earning me $16.

I seem to have everything under control except for the backlinking part. I just can't get it. Whatever I do, forum posts, forum profiles, blog commenting. pinging them, putting them in an RSS feed and submitting these, they just do not get indexed...

It's very frustrating because the #1 only has around 120 backlinks (all forum profiles), which should be easily achievable, yet it somehow seems impossible for me to even get to 10.

Anyone have any advice for me, or know of a service that can guarantuee me a number of INDEXED backlinks in a reasonable timeframe?

Thanks alot!

What are you using to check backlinks? Different services will tell you different numbers. For example, checking via the link: command in Google will get you vastly different results than using the Yahoo Site Explorer. Also, search engines can take a while to index your backlinks, even if you ping them. I suggest you keep up the work that you're doing, and be patient.. if you are getting your backlinks through dofollow blogs/forums, they will start getting indexed soon enough.

I use SERP attacks, great free software tool, and have verified with Site Explorer and other backlink check tools, and they all match.

One thing I like to do is go to very recent posts (posted 'Today') on high PR forums. I then take a sentence out of the post and put it in Google to see if it has been indexed. A lot of times it has, meaning the forum gets crawled a lot. I then make a post with my signature link. In most cases, a couple of hours later my post is indexed as well. The strange thing is the backlink isn't showing up, despite the post being indexed...

It is rare to find any backlink checker that finds or shows EVERY link that you have. Your best bet to get good results is -

    1) Use multiple backlink checkers to verify and develop a list of 4-5 that seem to be the better ones.
    2) Understand that search engines crawl sites at different time intervals. Your links may show up quickly, "eventually", or not at all. There are no guarantees in link building.
    3) If you use an outsource company I would do some Google searches to checkj them out. Many are black-hat or simply incompetent. Acquire only legitimate links from good sites and in a manner that Google will respect.

It takes a LOT of work and a commitment to doing only ethical work. Shortcuts and miracle solutions don't work!
