    What a question ... back in the "day" SEO was unheard of ..Search engines were basically free as was just about everything else out there ..

    One day, they all woke up and realized what a cash cow they were sitting on and the internet changed forever ..

    My only regret is not paying closer attention to the evolutionary process

    Hindsight is always 20/20 eh?

      Two years ago I bought Dreamweaver and hired a local college instructor to teach me how to use it. We never even discussed SEO. I ended up with a funky site structure and no real ability to update the site (the CSS always tripped me up).

      If I was building my first site today, I would buy XSitePro and read the whole dang 1,000-page manual cover to cover. It's SEO friendly, beginner friendly and I wish I had known about it 2 years ago. Beats WordPress by a mile. Live and learn.

        I'm glad that someone agrees how great the website design software XSitePro is, for any type of user, beginner or expert! I'm one of the lucky ones, as I have used it since starting out online, and have never looked back thanks to its great SEO tools. It's always delivered for me, and I've not need any other web design software!

    back when I got started in online I would have ranked everything immediately and sold the sites off for large sums of cash....I dominated the adult market for several years recently and would have loved to do that back when I first got started....I would have been retired by now..

    I would have liked to have my current expertise in web development, and would have greatly appreciated having training courses by my side, like the Complete Guide to Traffic, or the Complete Guide to Website Building.

    Of course, the Internet being young at the time meant it was always a journey of discovery probably until quite recently...
