Hi there,

It's about which one is easier to get ranked higher on SErPS. if you have option to boost your own blog post (in wordpress), or squidoo lens or other web 2.0 favorite, which one will you boost as your priority?

If we use the exact same model of off page optimization, which one will rank higher in your opinion?

Why would you promote any site you don't own (unless it's an Aff. link)?

Definitely your own web property, just because you'll have control of it. You never know if your article on other sites such as squidoo or ezines are gonna deleted or get into some sort of issue.

web 2.0 properties would rank high but will be buried in time unless you maintain it just like your own website.

the downside is that your page/video might get deleted and you already worked hard for it. I remember that blogspot make money online blog. the blogspot page ranked #1 for make money online before but was simply taken down by blogger/google. Ugh! the effort the owner wasted... tsk2
