Optimizing a Post
- SEO |
Please keep in mind this is a post on a product review site where each product has a post of it's own and an extract from each post appears on a static home page.
Besides the title, h1, ... etc my question relates specifically to linking in the post.
- 1 link to the home page as near the beginning of the post as possible and using the post's keyword as anchor text,
- 1 link to the post itself (I kid you not) in the middle or bottom of the post and again using the post's keyword as anchor text,
- and 1 nofollow outbound link to an authority site
All of these links are for the spiders as opposed to the human visitors and therefore can be hidden. (Still above board nothing black hat here)
The post linking to itself idea was recommended by a very well respected contributor to the WF. It seems pecular I know. Should each post instead link to another product post? Or should each post do all four: link to home page, itself, another post and an authority site?
What's your mind on this?
