Hi,
I'm planning to battle my first keywoards on Google.
Let's say they're: key1 key2.

I bought www (dot) key1key2 (dot) com as it was avaliable.
Is it going to help me much in my key1 key2 battle?

I've discovered, there are 4000 hits / month on google for key1 key2 and the competition is almost zero.

How would you advice me to win the competition for these keywords?

1. Good content: articles targetted for these keywords?
2. Content updated frequently?
3. Backlinks from high PR or gov/edu sites?
4. SMB with articles targetted for both keywords. Is pinging them a White Hat SEO?
Which of above and more would you recommend me?

How fast can I be #1?

Make sure you optimized your site very well. Then build quality backlinks, you will be in 1st page in no time if what you say is true that competition is easy.

    if competition is low then:

Genuine quality content is a given.
I suggest maybe 2-3 articles and social bookmarking
offer some guest blogging on authority sites

low competition, good on page SEO and a good domain should see you rank highly in your niche?!
