I have my PPC campaign in place and running on the search engines I have chosen. However, I find I'm being outbid on my keywords more often than I like.

Need more info. Are you running on the display (content) network or are you running on search network? If you are runnong on search and being outbid do you mean that you are being pushed off the first page or being dropped form a position that you are trying to get into? If it's the latter then you should very rarely target by position. Post up some more details and I'm sure we can answer your question.

    Thanks

I don't even know what your question is or what you expect as an answer. But here's some info.

PPC doesn't work on a straight bidding auction. The bid AND the ad quality, as measured by comparing your CTR to those of competitors, is taken into account. The basic formula is multiplying the two to rank ads. It is therefore possible to have a lower bid but outrank a competitor with a higher quality ad.
