This is pretty funny. First Google buys another web company beatthatquote (nothing unusual there).

Turns out that website had done it all - comment spam, PR link buying, doorway pages etc

      They had no choice I think, otherwise their credibility would be zero.

      It does raise some interesting questions such as -
      Did they check for violations of their own guidelines before they bought it? If they didn't , why not? If they did, why did they buy it and why didn't they slap it straight away?
