Building subs using keyword rich sites?
- SEO |
I'm trying to build my subscriber list from 2300 to 5000 quickly but well (i.e. the right people). I'm NOT looking to sell them anything but rather go the route of a daily site like "Geek Chic Daily" and sell advertising to bigger companies.
Many in these niches (daily emails with advertising revenue) buy subscribers using CPA networks but because my niche is online sellers (mostly marketplace sellers like those selling on Etsy) it may not be the best route. Also, I don't have unlimited funds and monthly budgets for buying subs.
I notice a lot here are making money from building sites that have good keywords and then driving the traffic to affiliate offers (I think that's what you're doing anyway).
Do you think that's something I should/could do in order to build my subscriber base? For example, if I had a site called "sell-your-art.com" that ranked #1 on google for sell your art, and then explained what my site offered via email and then had the opt-in box, would that be a good/cheap way to drive subscribers?
thanks in advance!
