No visitors to almost 40 blogs in over a month

From February 6th 2011 I started setting up Blogger blogs going off keywords with varying levels of competition and search volumes.

Then I set up about ten of these blogs so "Traffic Travis" says the SEO score is A+ (keywords in the domain name, title, H1, 1% of the page content, with a unique article or two).

I set up StatCounter on all the blogs along with Google Analytics.

So now it is March 9th and more than four weeks have passed, but not one single visitor visits one single blog, ever.

It looks like this:

If the SEO score says A+ then why is no one visiting?

One of the blogs has 60,500 global monthly searches and I have the exact match domain (albeit with a hyphen and it is a "blogspot.com" address) of just two words... that means about 2000 people A DAY are searching for it.

Even though a month has passed since the blogs were set up, these blogs (even the very best one that gets 2000 searches a day) is nowhere to be seen. You can literally go through the first 50 pages of Google after searching the exact term and the blog just isn't there.

Kinda makes me wonder why I am doing it, if even after 4 weeks there is not one single visitor to one single blog.

I don't have any backlinks anywhere, but then I have not been doing BH SEO.

What the hell is the reason for this? Because I have no backlinks? You could argue it is a number of things but I think I have already done all those other things. It doesn't matter whether the blogs have barely anything on them or 3000 words of unique content, none are even on the first 50 pages of Google, let alone the first page.

I can't pay to have Xrumer "blasts" done on them or even on one of them.

If I had known this I probably never would have spent 2 weeks setting them all up. It seems to be absolutely pointless. Each day that passes there are no visitors.

I wouldn't mind if I was talking about one blog but I am talking about more than 30, see the image I linked to, thats part of the StatCounter screen for today and yesterday.

Sad. I am sure last time I registered some domains they got indexed in a matter of days and a lot of visitors pretty fast.

Has the internet changed so much in the last 10 years that its barely even worth trying to get pages to PR1 anymore? Are the only ones that do this paying Google for the higher page rank?

This really annoys me as well:

Why is this post on Google within 3 seconds of me posting it, but none of my blogs are there after a month of posting it?

Pretty sickening. Maybe I should just turn to crime, has to be more rewarding.

You set up 40 blogs and think that visitors come automatically?

the truth is, without backlinks no one knows about your blogs, let alone they would rank without backlinks.

    15% CONTENT and on-site SEO, 85% off-site SEO (link building etc.)..if not 10%/90%

You can even have a CRAP site and get zillions of visitors if you do proper off-site seo, but usually not vice versa.

That being said, ON-PAGE is important (it can decide how and whether you will rank later)...but without links NOTHING will happen. Zero.

You have some massive link building to do, submit articles, participate in blog networks, bookmarking etc. If the blogs/content is good you didnt lose anything, its actually good the blogs aged a little before you do links.

The internet is not like the movie Field of Dreams.

If you build it, he will not come...

Traffic Travis' rating is simply scoring your on-page SEO. I agree with George. On-page SEO amounts to very little as far as drawing real traffic.

You need to get the word out about your sites. Backlinks, backlinks, and more backlinks. Social bookmarking, article submission, participate in related forums...

  • There are thousands of websites, blogs and pages emerging every single day, you cant just get traffic to your blog by just writing on a good topic with relevant content. It is your duty to market your site and attract the visitors to your website, your blog or your thoughts.

In the case of this post, Warrior forum is a pretty much famous thing out there in the web, it has many links (most of the organic by refferals). It has more power than rest of the craps posted in the internet.

You dont have to run behind Xrumer or any other software to get traffic.. Just think yourself, what is your niche, where can you find potential visitors, where will i able to get clicks from So and so.. There will always a result for hardwork, you can get visits to your blog just by spending some time marketing.

Ofcourse SEO is for the long term and you will not get instant results as you just saw with Warrior forum, just take your own time and do SEO. For instant traffic, go for social media optimization. Always remember 'Patience is the key to success.'

If you need back links, traffic and PR then you should do linkbuilding and SEO campaign. There's no magic after you create and uploaded a website unless you initiate that magic touch.

There's plenty of warriors offering back-linking service on here as well. I'd back link all 40 sites to each other, that would be a good start.

What content do you have for all these sites?

      Is it worthwhile to visitors?

Will it make them come back and stay with your site?

What value are you providing them?

Is it each blog personalized? I find when you make it more "human" and out your own personal spin, your feelings, your viewpoints into a blog you will find things really start to take off
