Also, you probably already know this but just throwing it out here:

Google or Bing search for... "your page topic" "uses keywordluv"

for example: "popcorn maker" "uses keywordluv"

Then you can use yourname@yourkeyword in the name field and it formats it all nice and shows as Yourname from YourKeyword with yourkeyword being a link to the page you enter in the website / url box.

Obviously, just leave relevant good comments so people don't turn off keywordluv. ha ha! =)

Hey, Squidoo and flikr are no follow aren't they? Are you sure about it, because lots of people use flickr and ought to be abused by now if they gave away do follow links. I'll do some research on it anyhow!

You need to have a mix of dofollow and nofollow links.

Flickr is no-follow so I wouldn't waste your time adding backlinks to flickr. The squidoo trick is a good idea, but some can be no-follow also, I suggest using the guest book on squidoo to leave a backlink, they are do-follow.

You can use this search string: site:squidoo.com "New Guestbook"

I just tried this trick a couple of days ago with two of my Wordpress blogs sitting on their own .org domains. I set up the sites 6+ months ago and never set up any back links to them. (They were indexed by Google because I uploaded a sitemap.xml using Google Webmaster Tools and did nothing else... These didn't show up anywhere in the first 10 pages of Google.)

Within 24 to 48 hours after I found 3 Squidoo lenses and added my link, I went back and checked again, and now both of my sites are on page #2 of the search results for their respective keywords.

I'm sure the Google dance will bounce it around. But it was a nice and simple test to prove that Google did crawl the back link from Squidoo and rank my site! So this method does have potential and I will keep adding a few more links every day to observe the results and see if I can get my sites to climb the rankings.

Hey first of all thanks for posting this.

I'm new to SEO so I'm not as experience as everybody else, but my Google page rank tool bar with fire fox says that the page my Flickr back link is on is a PR9?

Now you don't need to be an expert to know that a PR9 is just a very powerful back link, but is it really a PR9 or is it miss ranked?

I stopped using these techniques a long time ago. The links are useless IMO.

All of these tricks are useless. There was a couple of "so-called Gurus" talking about getting a PR7 link from Tumblr last year, sure you can get the link, but guess what? absolutely useless links also.

Getting instant backlinks is like getting your site penalized by google. It should be built over time and slowly.

There is no use on your suggestion . It does not get you any SERP for your website.

You do commenting in irrelevant page by using tricky search. But, the back link which is from that particular page is completely irrelevant niche of yours. So, it does not give any value to increase your SERP.

And, Flickr is no-follow photo sharing website. You can't get back links from flickr too.! Suppose if you do irrelevant comment or just a link, then image owner simply remove your comment..!

go to google and do the search, you need to change "your keyword" with the kw you are targetting.
