    For some reason I don't think anyone in here would admit to being a DMOZ editor if they were one. It's a hard job to get from I've read and those that do it take it very seriously.

    I submitted my blog to dmoz like 2-3 years ago. Still waiting for it to get approved...

      Well I have to agree to some degree that dmoz.org is a joke to get listed in. I have tried to get a number of legitimate brick'n'mortar businesses in with no success.

      However, I have one client who has been in dmoz for several years (and had a website for 11 years) and actually there is a surprising amount of traffic from there.

      I just wish there was a magic formula for getting in!

    I too had submitted my company's website to Dmoz and its more than a year now. But still Dmoz does not show the listing. How much more time should i wait to try again.

    The fact is that they don't send you any message if your website got approved or not, so you have to keep search it until it appears, if it appears..

      i never had site accepted there..even my best ones....i hv heard wierd things @ getting accepted into dmoz...seems like they must be true..
