You should upload your videos as a response to another video.
E.g You have a video about email marketing, then you should search for the best video out there, and upload your video as a response of that, you should get more visitors.

There aren't any good ebooks about getting views on Youtube, but there are several bad ones -- the kind where you look up the author of the Ebook and he is either nowhere to be found on Youtube, or has only a few hundred views to his name.

There are three things you have control over that can influence the video in the search engines: 1) The video description; 2) the thumbnail; and 3) There are rumors that what is said in the video is transcribed and indexed by Google software.

Make sure your description is SEO friendly for Youtube's search engine, and make sure you use an interesting thumbnail. Some guys will upload a thumbnail that has nothing to do with the vid - even some big names are guilty of uploading a thumbnail of a bikini girl. It is up to you if you want to do that. You will get a lot of first time viewers, but the chances of anyone embedding your video in your website drop to zero.

And this is the kicker -- my most-viewed videos have been embedded all over the web. One even made it to a Japanese website.

Lastly, if you have a series of videos, act like you are making a TV series. Try to make your videos interesting and entertaining enough for people to want to come back to, and for people to want to watch the next installment. This will get you subscribers, and you can give them freebies, invite them to join your mailing list, give them access to secret parts of your site, etc.

This is true. If you leave your video up for a while, you can go in and edit the transcript and add your keywords.

The option is located under the closed captions in you tube. Hope that helps!
