Adsense account disapproved

I have been running a couple of sites with adsense on them and getting come clicks. Nothing great but they're certainly active.

So..... I recently got an email from adsense stating that my account had been disapproved and the reason was that my website was down AND hard to navigate (granted if it was down it would be tricky!).

Anyway, how they can say that my website is down when I get regular clickthroughs I have no idea.

Anyway, the advice they game me was to login and check my application form which appears to be impossible. When I login there is a message telling me that the account is disapproved and I can't go any further.

I posted something on the adsense forums and got an overwhelming response from the adsense team..... sorry, what I meant to say is that I posted something on the forums and had absolutely nothing.

Does anyone have any advice?

Is this in any particular order? What I mean is, should I look at adbrite first, the Bidvertiser and so on?

Yes, you can start from the beginning. I think it is not possible for any one to use all networks. Just use one by one and find out which is best for you.

        Good luck.

I thought yahoo publisher network is available only for big companies, or that it is not available anymore.

I am not sure where to go with this because I had about 20 articles on it.
      • All articles between 600 and 800 words
      • Relevant graphics
      • Easy navigation
      • 3 adsense blocks per page showing correct ads associated with the keywords my articles were targetting
      • Unique content

      Thanks anyway

It can be a timing thing as well. Newer, yet still adequate, sites that rely heavily on visitor-posts for content can have a "slow" day - the day Adsense looks at the site, of course - and you will get tagged with an "under construction" label. Get out the hard hat....

There are other ways to get your google adsense accounts and some include registering at partner google sites such as docstoc

    Try that one

It is possible to reinstate your account unless you are caught for fraud clicks. You must remove all the copy contents from your site and request adsense to re consider your application. Try to post your concern on their help forum.

Google's Website Quality Guidelines state that your site needs to have 'clear hierarchy' and every page should be reachable from at least one static text link.

If this was your issue, correct the problem and resubmit your application for an account.

It would be helpful if you copied and pasted exactly what Google's email said, if you want to pursue this further.

A lot of people here are pretty quick to decide what the OP did to get banned, when in fact only Google will know for sure. I had my account disabled because it had "the potential for non-valid clicks", so it was banned not because I did anything wrong, but because it had the POTENTIAL to do something wrong.

I appealed the decision, but it came back that they were still banning my account....THEN, a couple weeks later, it was miraculously re-instated, yet two weeks of income was gone! This "dance for me, puppets!" attitude of Google really annoys me, which is why I'm looking at other ways to make money without having to rely on Google.

If I'm successful, I'm going to write an ebook called "Why Google Can Get F**KED! How I made $289,327,978.54 in 5.3 Seconds By Doing Absolutely Nothing"...hopefully you can see the sarcasm in the title.

    regards,

    Diver D.

    Hello Cyoung75

My name is David, I am a community manager at Kontera.

It is true there are many alternatives to Adsense but I would to share some information with you that makes Kontera the must-use option for yoursite.

Kontera is the exclusive in-content analysis and engagement platform for more than 15,000 web publishers, reaching over 140 million unique users per month.

Kontera is effective for so many different people is thanks to our Synapse platform, an algorithm that rather than just scanning for keywords like other in-content companies do, can read your text for actual meaning. This added understanding allows us deliver relevant information and ads directly related to user intent, leading to higher CTR and better CPC.

Another advantage of Kontera is our exclusive ad inventory from some of the biggest brand names in the world including Toyota, UPS, Sprint, American Express, General Motors, Oreo, L'Oreal, McDonald's, HP, Yoplait, and many more. These premium, often Rich-Media ads are the most attractive to users, offer the best possible CPC, and are only available to Kontera Publishers.

We're currently offering new publishers a 70% revenue share and a $50 Bonus if you get at least 25,000 U.S. page views during your first 30 days on the network. Kontera also offers a low $50 minimum threshold, good across all of our payout methods.

Feel free to email me at davids [at] kontera [dot] com with any questions you have.

    Thanks

        Hi Greenfatman,

This is Jonathan from Kontera. I just came across this thread.

To answer your questions, there are publishers who earn daily triple figures with Kontera, though earnings vary publisher to publisher and obviously with traffic volume.

Kontera is similar to AdSense, in the sense that we both offer contextual CPC ads, but we're also different in the sense that we provide in-content ads that appear over your text after you scroll over the double highlighted word with your mouse. That means Kontera takes up no additional space on your website and is a passive income source that's a great compliment to use with AdSense.

From what I see on your blog...

I can't find the required privacy policy complying with AdSense's TOS and program policies.

Your content is shallow and not unique. Your blog posts are too short and really don't offer the great user experience that Google is looking for.

When the rejection is for 'page type', it is usually due to lack of substantial and unique content.

After you correct that, plus be sure your site complies with the rest of the AdSense terms, try reapplying.

According to the sources I have, you can use other ads but they can not be formatted to look like or be confused with Google ads.
