    I'd say very little. Much better things to concern yourself with than Alexa Rank.

    Sure, Google probably look at it, but if it does have any bearing on ranking, I'd say it's minimal.

    From my experience alex ranking is not important for a site. But google page rank is most important for a website. If you want to see your site reach at the top of google page rank then you must use seo tools.

    It depends on website that determines the importance of alexa rank. If you are an online seller then alexa rank would be a plus mark for the trust and authority of your website. Higher rank means you get more visitors and conversion than your competitor.

      Alexa is for entertainment purposes. If you make a business decision based on
      alexa, then you have zero business sense.

      Case in point. autohits.dk Alexa rank of 13,000. Of course you could put
      a ton of traffic exchanges, especially auto, on a high alexa list.

      Spin your site in on autohits.dk for a week. See what results you get.

      How about trafficswarm? Alexa of 1,000. Man is that huge! Go ahead and
      put your site there too.

      Pumping up mindless traffic is meaningless.
